MerrellMen's Encore Bypass 2 Moccasin

I work from home, and also like to get out in the yard/shed and make things. I was used to getting outdoor rated slippers... With compromises.These slip on and off easily... Hands free. They are light enough to wear around the house while being heavy enough to go out and do some woodworking. They're comfortable, and they fit well. (I ordered my usual size) They don't slide off, no problems going out and hiking in them. I haven't had the slightest concern about them accidentally coming off in any situation, and I wear these out for shooting archery.I guess in some sense, I have a very specific use case. But this is the perfect shoe for a work at home computer nerd who lives in the deep country and likes to woodwork or go shooting on his lunch hour.I also travel a lot for my work, and these are GREAT hotel shoes. Easy to slip on for that trip down to the ice machine, or that walk by the pool.It has all of the convenience of a flip-flop or slippers while still being a good supportive and protective shoe. While not looking like you wore slippers to Wal Mart at 9PM to get Ice Cream. Without falling off your feet when you climb stairs.I'm thrilled. I have had barefoot slipons, gone through enough high end slippers to fund my retirement, deck shoes, loafers... This is so perfect it feels like it was designed for me. But if you need shoes you can watch football in and go out gardening, I can't say enough good things. If you travel a lot and want shoes that are convenient and also keep your feet dry and protected, yep. Something you can slip on to go have that late night pee in the woods without worrying about what you'll step on when camping. If you have mobility issues and need shoes that slip on easily and stay put.

This is lightweight, breathable, not too bad looking. I've been using these for a while and find them quite comfortable.

A sturdy and comfortable shoe once you get used to the robust rubber heel configuration. They do tend to be a bit warm at times, not as breathable as I had hoped.

I got these in the size I always buy, despite some reviews and Amazon recommending a wide. They fit fine and like my other Merrells. The opening is tight initially, but after a day I can tell it's already stretching a bit. And since that's the part that keeps them on, tight is fine. Really comfortable and already bought a similar pair for the wife.

I’ve been wearing Merrell shoes for 30 years. Obviously, every few years, I buy a new pair as I wear them daily, almost. Between the slide on shoes and summer sandals, Merrell, it is. These shoes I purchased for my Dad who needed comfort and ease of on and off. He’s very happy that I found his size and loves the comfort and style of these shoes. My Mom used to wear Merrell’s and my husband is awaiting a pair to arrive. These shoes are the best for comfort. Love my Merril shoes. I probably own 4 pairs of them.

Shoes came quickly and are enjoyable for summer weather

Way down and quickly going downhill, Merrell. Please know I have been wearing this particular shoe for more than 15 years. Have bought several pairs, usually in this exact style yet I also tried the brown suede version. My wife an I used to be extremely loyal Merrell customers and bought their shoes for our kids, too. As colleagues complemented my Encore Bypass shoes, I once highly recommended them. No more! Read on to learn why:The sizing changed by a full size recently. I’m guessing a factory was changed or corners were cut. My wife bought a new pair for me (my eighth) for my birthday. Unfortunately, they were dramatically small. Merrell would do nothing for us, even after asking us to jump through considerable hoops to send pictures showing the obvious problem.Also, the brown suede version’s bottom quickly separated from the top of the shoe. Wouldn’t you think Merrell would be polite, apologetic and willing to fix the issue? When we called we received a wall of nothing bordering on rude indifference.I no longer recommend Merrell. Service and quality way downhill. What a ripoff when shoes cost $100 a pair.

I would order a size larger next time. Fits quite snug.Shoe is made well, good value for the money.

Fit's true to size for this size 10 male. Very comfy slip on/off shoe, breathable, would buy again, pricing not too bad compared to others.
