Wish I'd had an ionic hair dryer in high school. Light, easy to use, tough, good attachments, good size, and the diffuser works perfect to dry the dogs' hair too. Very gentle through the diffuser and not too hot. Great for Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix with thick hair, layers. Also good on Yorkie fine hair.

I confess that I don't know anything about blow dryers, lol... All I've ever known is that you turn it on and blow until the hair is dry... That having been said, I've often had the impression that it's better to dry hair with a towel or naturally because blow dryers seem to leave hair frizzy. Well... our blow dryer was super old and finally giving up the ghost so we ordered this one. No scientific reason why but we just clicked add to cart.... Wow am I glad we did! This dryer is great! It has a powerful and comfortable flow of warm/hot air and gets the hair dry amazingly fast! Not only that but NO FRIZZ! It must be the design or heat method or something but this one is so much better than our old one. Great purchase, and with bonus attachments...AND... it's very affordable. If you have no idea what to get, you can't go wrong with this one. We picked the orange just because it was the cheapest and no complaints there either... The color is actually very cool looking and we are just so happy with out purchase!

I did my research and looked for a blow dryer that was reviewed and rated well. After reading mixed reviews about all of them, I decided to go with the brand I know and trust. The last Conair blow dryer I got has lasted me almost 10 years and I think I only paid $20 for it and it has worked perfectly well. Only reason I need another one is because I took the filter out of the back to clean it and it is so old, it literally disintegrated. Figured it is time for a new one. I liked the orange color (grabbed my eye) and that it has the normal curly and straight attachments that come with it. Reviews that I read said that it is salon quality, meaning that it dries your hair faster than other blow dryers. There is a 1 year warranty, but I am not worried about that since my last one lasted forever. Learned while researching blow dryers that there are 2 different types of motors. One that tends not to last as long and one that does. This one has the AC motor that lasts longer. I have now had a chance to use it a few times and I have to say that it DOES dry my hair quicker than before. I'm a believer. This blow dryer does what it says it will, has multiple settings including a cool blast button and I am confident that it will last for a very long time. WELL worth the $25.00 I spent on it, especially when compared to internet reviews for 2017 top 10 best blow dryers averaging $100-$150.

I recently purchased this hairdryer as I was looking for something inexpensive that had a low heat setting and could fit my Xtava Black Orchid Diffuser. I originally contemplated getting the Xtava hairdryer, which also checked these boxes, but the barrel of that dryer just looked way too long. Because the Black Orchid diffuser is so big and bulky, I preferred a dryer to be more compact. I am pleased to report that this dryer was a good option. However, this dryer isn't perfect. And had it been priced higher, I wouldn't have been so generous with my rating. But at this price it does exactly what I need it to do. And the pros outweigh the cons, at least for me. Pros: - Compatible with the Xtava Black Orchid - Compact size - Three heat settings including LOW heat which my other, more expensive hairdryer doesn't have Cons: - This is a very LOUD hairdryer, especially on high speed. - Heavier than it looks, my other dryer is about the same size but much lighter - Medium heat setting is a bit too hot I think my biggest con with this dryer is how loud it is. Now this may not be a problem for many people, but as someone who only uses a hairdryer to diffuse it's not ideal. Because I tend to Pixie diffuse, I am holding the diffuser close to my head, and at times, my ears, for at least a minute on each section. My ears were ringing by the time I was done, which concerned me a bit. But I primarily got this because it had a low heat setting. I honestly would prefer a "no heat" setting, but the low heat setting is only marginally warmer than the cool shot setting. Now my other dryer does have cool shot, but it's very uncomfortable pressing it down for long periods and not ideal for drying your entire head that way. So I really appreciate the low heat setting on this. It's more comfortable and I get much less frizz when diffusing, even if low heat means more time. Lastly, I found that the medium heat setting was more hot than warm. The heat from this on medium is nearly the same temperature as my other dryer on its hottest setting. I haven't tried this dryer on its hottest setting, but I can only imagine how hot it would be. This might be a positive for people who want lots of heat and looking to dry hair fast, but for me I prefer less heat. So in conclusion I will use this as my primary dryer for diffusing, but on days where I prefer to add more heat I will use my other dryer since it doesn't get quite as hot as this. But for the price there's not much I can really complain about. It's an effective hairdryer that will do the job, and is great for textured hair because of the low heat setting.

I love this brand of hair dryer and I've had it for years. I used to have this habit of sitting in front of it for warmth (weird I know) and it was awesome not only for that but for actual hair drying too. The air pressure is awesome and comes out pretty strong which is awesome for making my straight hair fuller and fluffier. I've tried to get other hair dryers around the same price range and even a bit more expensive and they all suck compared to this one! Most of them were weak and one of them even started making weird noises after being on for only a minute! But this one doesn't do that and it's built very well to boot. Take it from me who sometimes fell asleep with it on (my heat was broken at one point and this was my only source of warmth)... this thing is built to last and is very safe. I only had to buy a new one because after a year of continuous use and dropping it on to hardwood floors like 50 times it finally got a little cracked and the inside started having tiny sparks. That was my own fault though. And to be honest I was surprised by how well it was built that it lasted through all of that too. Anyways, long story short, this hair dryer is; 1. Extremely well built 2. Safe, with no bad wiring (I've had 4 over the past 4-5 years and they only went bad after I dropped it a billion times) 3. Will last you forever 4. Has amazing air pressure 5. Is probably the best hair dryer you can find in this price range I would highly recommend this model!!! Hope this helps!!

The hair dryer has a sleek style and nice color. The great thing about it, which was most important to me, was that it had a lot of power. This actually made my hair look better by giving me greater volume. I spent many hours researching and reading reviews. I was tempted to spend the $200 on a good dryer, but decided to try spending less first. I’m glad I did. I couldn’t understand why my hair always looked better coming out of the salon––a major reason was due to the volume of a good hair dryer. Due to being so busy, I don’t usually leave reviews. However, the hair dryer now also dries my hair very quickly, and I wanted others to have the same experience. The only downside was that it will be a bit heavier for travel (but worth it!) and the attachments don’t go on as easily as I would like. The benefits definitely outweigh the minor inconveniences. I actually now look forward to drying my hair because I like to see how much volume I can get out of it and how fast I can do it. Without a doubt, five stars!

I have had this blow dryer for 1 year 4 months and 26 days...today I laid this sucker to rest....It went out in a blaze of glory...and I mean that. Thankfully all of my hair is still on my head and I did not suffer any injuries when my blow dryer took its last breath...of fire. This thing started on fire! It made a God awful screaming noise, which should have been my queue to turn the sucker off but noooooo....I used it...I used it through the smoke smell....and the scream...and then...FIRE..I turned it off when the smoke came billowing out and a small fire could be seen in the back of the dryer. Needless to say...I am looking for an upgrade...until then, I will have wet and weirdly frizzy hair. This dryer was used nearly every single day I owned it, 513days It was used, it has traveled overseas, across state lines, I have used it under the influence, and on days I didn't really want to use it at all, hence the 5 stars. For everything it gave it was good, until it wasn't, I could be bald right now..but the scream was a warning. A warning I would heed and save my locks from the stinky burning smell and the weird burnt look. I recommend this blow dryer and when it starts to scream at you, listen to it.

It is really too loud, extremely loud. And cold option is not working. It is good. But I would better not buy.

Fantastic hair dryer. Has a few different settings and works well with my diffuser. No complaints, I would buy again. Also the colour is awesome!

Love this hairdryer! Had this model before for at least 3 years and it has great drying power and multiple settings including a cool shot. It drys quickly and efficiently as compared to other dryers I've tried that fell short by comparison. I was a bit thrown off by the GFCI plug on the dryer as I did not have it on my last one but after looking if up I understand it is a requiremeng in the US so it is a good safety measure to have on such an appliance. Get one, you won't regret it

I had purchased the same item approx. 10 yrs ago...so didn't hesitate to buy it once again. I love the fact that you can set the temperature (low, medium, & high) --so I don't have to burn my hair. Would highly recommend this hair dryer.

Appears exactly as shown. No problem with cord length or weight of drier as stated in other reviews. Works great - 3 heat levels of heat plus a cold button to lock in the style. I use primarily with the diffuser for wavy hair and it works really well. Better curls than I got from other driers.
