I used this to protect my 7” cedar deck railing from bird droppings under Overhead hanging bird feeders. The droppings were difficult to remove, and discolored the cedar stain on the railing, so I was looking for a 7” clear plastic strip that is easily washed clean by a garden hose, and yet allows the color of the cedar railing to be seen. This 7” clear plastic strip was perfect, and combined with a clear plastic self stick edging, allowed easy installation along about 20 LF of railing.

As others have noted, this ships in a roll as pictured. I didn't measure the full roll so can't comment on the overall length. The width is accurate, the vinyl is of expected quality, easy to cut with fresh utility knife and hole punch, and just generally what you would expect.

These come in a roll so that you can cut strips to whatever length you need. The material is thick, flexible, and very clear. One can use this for practically anything where you want a clear barrier that still allows breathability and pass-through for humans or large animals. I'm using this on fenced sides of our chicken run to give the hens some weather protection while still allowing for light, visibility, and some ventilation. Very easy to use DIY project material and a good value!

I would give minus stars if I could. Once the temperature reaches below 36 degrees these get hard and break. Complete waste of money. Junk!
