YAXIfor HD25 Comfort (replacement earpads)

I bought these to replace the original pads of my Sennheiser Amperior (similar to HD25 aluminium's) which were also made from alcantara but after nearly ten years of use had disintegrated into black dust. It seems that there's not many companies making HD25 spares these days so it was basically take a chance on these or downgrade to some awful cheap pleather things. Well, I'm happy to report that while the price tag made me wince a bit the product is at least quality, and definitely more comfortable than the original pads were even when they were new.As far I can tell sound they haven't changed the sound much compared to the original Amperior alcantara pads, but if you're coming from pleather or leather pads then it will be a little different, the sharpness of the treble will be tamed slightly and the bass will also be slightly more emphasised which is just what the HD25 series needed in my opinion.

I use my HD25s every night as I use them to listen to soothing music to aid my sleep. These earpads are well made and so comfortable.

makes my hd25's feel like my sony xm3's comfort wise (core fact that they're on-ears probably won't ever make them wearable all day but still this is as good as it gets i think) - finally see the hype in these headphones <3

WAY more comfortable than the original Sennheiser pads, and slightly better than the velour ones. Do not compromise the isolation of the headphones at all, and no sweaty ears after long periods of use. Recommended 👍

Terrible product. Really rubbish. I would recommend sticking to the original sennheiser pads which are good quality and sound fine.These are totally not worth twice the price of the sennheisers. Seller didn't even bother sending the colour I ordered, instead sent the glow in the dark silver things.Seriously just save your money and buy Sennheiser.
