Great piece of kit
For use sea kayaking it's small enough to use on a deck but very versatile I have threaded an 18" length of strong cord through the centre hole so I can use the cord to measure distance by placing one end on destination & the other end on where I am starting from then using the scale on the side of the chart/OS map to give me a rough estimate on distance to travel. The cord can also be used when getting a bearing use the map/chart with the protractor. Great piece of kit

Funciona como se espera
El transportador está bien, se ha entregado a tiempo correctamente embalado.Para ejercicios con la carta de navegación se queda corto, después de usarlo un tiempo me paso al triangular que es mucho más cómodo de usar para mi.

Cumple, pero no es transparente
Elegí el transportador creyendo que era transparente pero tiene un tono grisáceo translucido que no es como la foto. De calidad no está mal al tacto, y tiene flexibilidad y un grosor aceptable (no flexa al apoyar en la regla como el otro que tengo). Si fuera transparente, sería un 4 estrellas, pero así no me gusta.

OK, but not as good as the original
I had a real 'Douglas' protractor for over 20 years, until I was careless putting it away, so this one has something to live up to. It's definitely not as good as the original; it's more opaque and the printing is not as clear, making it more difficult to use on a chart table. However it's not the worst I've seen and since it's a thicker plastic than the original (possibly explaining why it is more opaque) it might handle hamfisted storage better?
