it stays on for hours and i go to concerts and stuff and it will stay on. very pigment, easy to appy. the only thing is its a little hard to sharpen when needed but it works totally fine. love!

So far the best eyeliner I have used. The silver color is perfect. Soft and creamy, glides on smooth.

It is highly waterproof and smudge proof for regular activity, but it will start to smear after swimming for a while. THERE IS MORE IN THE TUBE — take an object and push it upwards through the bottom. Yes, straight through the white thing. I’m pretty sure it’s just wax.

Updated to 4 stars: This product can be sharpened. The pencil shell is plastic. You can't advance the liner by twisting the end but it can be put in a pencil sharpener. However, this can make some parts of the plastic sharp. Be careful around your eyes! This eyeliner is a beautiful shade of green. It goes on easily. I have hazel eyes - a mixture of brown and green. This product really brings out the green color. However I have given a one star rating because there is no way to advance the product once you use it. It appears to be a mechanical pencil but nothing advances when you twist the end of it. So what you see is what you get and it may last a couple of weeks but that's it. So for me, it's not cost effective.

This is one of the worst eyeliners I've ever owned. I've used plenty of other Nyx eyeliners and never had a problem. The lid will not stay on the pencil; it comes off in my makeup bag and leaves purple marks all inside the bag and also the point breaks off inside the bag. The product is also quite soft, which makes it easier to break, and it doesn't seem to be highly pigmented because it's difficult to get a dark enough line. Moreover, it doesn't last long. Within a couple of hours you can barely see it. Using eyeshadow to line my eyes does a better job than this eyeliner. Finally, it's difficult to sharpen, almost as if the point is breaking off inside the sharpener as you try to sharpen it because the product is too soft. This also means it's not going to last long because you're constantly trying to sharpen it.

Love this pencil it has staying power, but it is deeply flawed in the amount that you get. Ordered two more pencils, thinking I did something wrong on the first one because it didn’t last long in a previous review. It was mentioned that there’s more in thepencil so take off the bottom and slowly push up through the inside and sure enough more of the eye pencil will appear. I’ve done that and created quite a mess. I’ll keep the two I ordered because I like the pencil, but this isn’t worth going through this to get the rest of the product. it’s definitely a design flaw.

I love Nyx eyeliners. They are some of the best regardless of price point. These in particular do require a sharpener and are not twist up. I needed a replacement for a discontinued color in another brand and found this the closest. It adds a subtle but noticeable shimmer color to the waterline that makes eyes pop and is also an easy way to add color or bring a look together. I find the shimmer is enough to make eyes look awake but also a fun color to play around with. These are long lasting, waterproof, and smudge resistant. They last but do come off easily with makeup remover. If you need a creamy eyeliner that works on waterline or eyelid, these are perfect in every color.
