I am sure I will find other uses for this later on, but I ordered this for two specific applications in my old 2002 Taurus. I needed a strong tape that would hold a light that I used in my trunk to replace the broken trunk/cargo light. The other applications were for the two cigar lighter/power points on the dashboard. One of them, an OEM part, kept coming out and the other was a replacement that did not fit correctly to begin with. This tape did the things I needed it to do and did it well, so far at least. It's thick. It’s not all that easy to work with. It is already sticky on one side with a thin plastic coating that you peel off on the other side. Yes, it is a sticky, double-sided tape. You don’t get a whole lot, but it is slightly cheaper in a 3-roll package, and I can share with family. This seems very versatile. It does not seem very wall friendly, especially painted walls and surfaces. This stuff is removeable and reuseable. But one must be careful of what you want to attach and where you want to attach it. I included a picture of the light attached in my trunk. The 3M adhesive that came with that light kit was not holding the light in place. This alien tape has done well so far, and that is with a lot of bumpy roads. Hopefully this helps someone decide on this product.

First, I was expecting tape that was built on the scientific breakthrough of understanding how lizard feet adhere to vertical walls. Wrong. This tape is like gummy candy but softer. It has very good adhesion but very poor tensile strength. I first applied it to the back of a plastic toilet paper holder, to apply to a decorative tile wall. Then, I decided a better location could be had, so I rotated the toilet paper holder to remove it from the wall, and that worked, too. The soft, gummy Alientape did not release in a way that was re-useable, though. It tore and it buckled onto itself, adhering there. Now, maybe this maneuver requires a skill I have yet to develop, but the seller sent a message asking for the review right away, so here it is, right after the first use. There was no sense trying to rinse and reuse it. I applied fresh Alientape to the two spots on the toilet paper holder and reapplied it to the wall. Funny thing: It wobbled and did not feel as solidly placed. After some useage, I removed it -- this time with less destruction of the one piece of tape that was holding it, and saw that I'd only uncovered that one, so it was all that was holding the double-size roll of toilet paper, plus the toilet paper holder, to the tile. That's good adhesion. Once I had two pieces of tape in place, uncovered, and properly stuck, it was just right. Still, I'm not ready to trust it where glass containers are involved. With tile floors. if they fall, they will break. The illustration in the advertising shows a small shelf with glass jars on it. Nice idea, but I'm not ready to try that, yet.

This tape works for any double sided taping needs you might have. They are thick and sticky! The sticky can be very hard to remove from painted drywall, so be mindful of where you use it and how long you have it in your walls. It’ll seal like super glue in a second. Very well worth the investment.

I never get behind all the TV ad stuff, but this stuff is wonderful. This is my 2nd purchase. I have used it to hang pictures outside on my brick house and they've held tight for years, It's great on lightweight desk speakers--holds them tight in place. I have used this when nothing else will work! I wouldn't put it on wallpaper however. It is reusable, but gets a bit messed up when you have to remove it. three rolls in a box lasts a long time. Love this product!!

I received three rolls of clear nano tape, which gives you a nice amount to work with for different projects. The tape is thick, transparent, and each roll comes in its own reusable storage bag, which helps keep everything organized. In my experience, the protective backing was easy to remove once I started using it. I was able to peel it away without much trouble, and the clear design makes the tape blend in nicely. Overall, I found this to be a convenient product to have around for everyday household uses. I gave it four stars because, while it worked well for me, I think there’s still room for improvement depending on the specific application.

It is amazing how strong this is. A 2.5m portion of plastic drainpipe broke free from the guttering around a bay window. I reattached and secured it with the alien tape thinking that it would hold for a while until I could get someone in to make a proper repair. That was in October 2025. It is still there so I can now wait to do a complete replacement of the gutters this summer (2026).

Alien Tape really is the best adhesive tape on the market. I've been using it for years now to hold various things to various other things, including but not limited to: * Multiple different power bars to walls, desks, the sides of storage cabinets. * Posters and pictures to walls (very small pieces). * Wires to walls and ceilings (very thin pieces). * A security camera to my metal gazebo (plus a ziptie just in case, but the tape is doing most of the work). * A battery monitor to my e-bike's display console (and holding up through ~1000+km of riding). * A monitor, to the side of a dresser - yes, a whole Benq 21" monitor. It's on so well I can't get it off even if I want to! Really, it's easier to share what it *hasn't* worked on: brick and stone. It doesn't claim to work for this though, but I of course tried! But just about every other surface and object it's worked perfectly. My only word of caution is, it adheres so well that it is *very* easy to strip paint off walls when removing it if you're not exceptionally careful. And of course, you may need a bit more to hold heavy objects, and always monitor it closely especially if it starts showing signs of stretching. All-in-all, you really can't go wrong. And in fact once you have it, you'll start reaching for it whenever you have to mount things together. So stock up!
