I have not had good luck achieving that really shiny/shimmery look with cream, mousse, liquid or cream-to-powder eyeshadows that claim to be foiled/metallic/wet looking. All the experts say to use your finger - which is why the colors always look amazing when swatched on hand or arm vs. when actually applied to your eyelid - but I just find that approach much too clunky and imprecise, especially with my longer fingernails.I didn't know what exactly to search for as an alternative to the standard shadow brush, but once again Amazon came through. These silicone applicators do the trick. It does take a little getting used to - it's a different technique than a regular shadow brush, but they allow more precision overall and let you get into smaller corners easier than a finger. Even the more solid cream and mousse textured eyeshadows adhere to the silicone and glide on nice and smooth to get that even, metal like sheen with much less fallout. (Of course very glittery shadows will always spill some flecks during application - don't think anything will completely avoid that.)Some reviewers mentioned using these for lip color application - I have not tried that, but very satisfied to have found an effective applicator for my needs. Also like that they came in a 3-pack so I have a couple in reserve for future. Give them a try if you've been struggling with this type of shimmery eyeshadow application!

Great applicator brush for those glitter eyeshadows

I bought these to apply eye pigment, I had mediocre results with that. Though I'm going to try again now that I purchased some pigment primer. But what I ended up using them for is my lip sleep masks, and other beauty products that are in a jar. Even before COVID-19 I wasn't much of a fan of sticking my finger in lip balm, but did it all the time, but now, being my concious of my hygeine, including the cleanliness of my beauty tools, they really are handy. Unlike a cotton swan, there is no fibers to deal with I have used them to dole out blobs of lip balm, Vaseline, and of late, Tiger Balm, which I loathe getting on my hands.The wash easily with soap and water, and honestly these should be on the vanity, makeup bag and/or bedside of any beauty afficinado or just anyone trying to keep their health and beauty products germ free.I can see myself using these in cream eyeshadows, to take pigments out of bottles and mix them, and even to scrape the last bits if a beloved lipstick . Also, I have not done my nails in awhile, but I can see these being handy in a kit for those who do nail art to mix products, maybe apply glitters.If you like the silicone mask spatulas, you will like these, as they are essentially a smaller formatLegit, I can't believe these are not hyped more in the beauty community

I don't care for the silicone rubbing my eye lid. I'm at the age where my eye lids are very fragile.

I love these little applicators. They are fantastic for all sorts of things, from mixing up my loose pigments for new colors, to applying glitter & pigments directly to my eyelids, these are a must have for anyone who uses liquid pigments and/or glitters. And the added bonus of easily washable & comes clean with just a wipe of paper towels. These specifically are very sturdy & the heads are very tight on the stem, so no fear of them coming off while using them, like the cheap ones do.

The media could not be loaded.  These are great silicone eyeshadow brushes. They are sturdy, yet flexible, and have a good length to them. I've used them to apply eyeshadow, but my favorite way to use them is to apply my Bite Beauty Agave and Laneige Lip Masks and all my lip glosses. These prevent my lip gloss's tube applicators from getting lipstick on them.They also prevent me from having to stick my fingers directly in lip products that come in a pot. Last but not least, they are also much more hygienic to use since I can easily clean these silicone brushes and disinfect them.When all is said and done, what I love most about them is that they are full size brushes so they are easier to work with compared to the mini silicone brushes that come with certain lip products. I use these for my glitter tattoos, was nervous how they would work but they were great! Quick and easy sanitization between customers and I only used 3 on hand, so easily can add a helper with their own set if 3 to help. Thank you for the quick delivery!!

I use these so much, i bought more because they are STURDY and can handle it!! Zombie makeups to crystals and glitter looks, really, these guys simply work it! I have put them through ProsAide, Waxes, Moulds, Silicone, Latex, Bloods ... and they wash LIKE A DREAM!!!
