Ziploc Container Set,Clear,14 Piece Set

Purpose of purchase: I needed containers to pack for my lunch to take to work. Often times i take breakfast too. As a sidenote I have a thing for matching so it bothers me if all the containers I take do not match. I needed multiple containers for when i take a bunch of stuff.Pros: various sizes to meet different needs in a given day, stack neatly together, easy to store. I actually like the small square and rectangle the best and use small squares the most.Cons: not as thick as the rubbermaid stackable containers. The small square ones tend to get crushed some if i just throw them in my bag or by an aggressive toddler hungry for their snack!Overall: would buy again, does meet my need. Works great for individual portions or snacks Would say if you have a full meal that you want to warm up it may be cumbersome to take separate containers for each thing and heat up one at a time.

I am thoroughly impressed with the Ziploc Food Storage Meal Prep Containers. Their one-press seal makes them incredibly easy to use and ensures a tight, leak-proof seal every time. I like this older style of the Ziploc containers due to the shape that packs more efficiently. I am happy to report that I received exactly what is pictured. The set contains sizes that are very useful to me for leftovers and for lunches.

A pack of seven containers, the majority of which are quite small --three half-cup and two, one-cup with two larger sizes, a two and a half cup and a four and a quarter cup. These are BPA-Free plastic and can go in the microwave, freezer and may be washed on the top shelf of the dishwasher.They stack together to keep storage space requirements to a minimum. The density of the material is pretty thin, so handle with care to extend their life. The lids snap on (press the square(s) easily and pull the corner tab to remove. These are definitely not as sturdy as a regular Tupperware or Rubbermaid container but they are also less expensive.

These are the older style that is squared at the edges not rounded like a bowl. The hold more and take up less space and stack beautifully in the fridge or freezer. I am extra careful when they are in the freezer so they don't fall because they are not really made for freezing and they become brittle. They are not made to play football with for sure but this style is still my favorite and I am glad I can still get it somewhere! The smallest is perfect for nuts or dried fruit snacks and my son even takes gravy to dip his breakfast goodies in at work. I don't like the bowl shape - they don't stack or slide around in the fridge with out tumping over.

Get these original design containers while still available. The new Ziploc design wastes space in the frig and freezer with its oversize curved lid and sloping sides.

The smallest container fits half a lime, or like... half a clove of minced garlic. Or a leftover butter packet. It's really that small. But it's actually the exact size I needed, especially since my fridge is a mini size. I'm actually pretty delighted that there's a box exactly the size of a sandwich, it feels much better than saran/foil wrapping it or putting it in a plastic bag, but it's not too big either that putting that in a bag will become too cumbersome. The biggest one I could probably store some leftover soup or something. I have no idea what I'll use the two long ones for though. But I bought these basically just for the tiny containers, so I'm happy with my purchase.
