I am very upset that the rebuild kit I ordered from you is is not correctly configured. After spending considerable time and effort to replace the gaskets and seal provided for my pool pump, I realized (after researching why the pump was now severely leaking) that the shaft seal in this kit is not the correct part for pre-1998 models as described in your listing. Those older models require a PS200 pump shaft seal, not a PS100 as supplied. Now I will have to rip everything apart to replace this seal which is the hardest part to service. In the future I will be hesitant to order parts from sloppy Chinese manufacturers and suppliers. This situation is unacceptable.

I think the date on my pump is 1974. Almost as old as me. Solid rebuild kit. My pump was leaking water at the shaft and bell housing and was putting air bubbles out the pool jets. Shaft seal from same company and Large O-Rings cured leaking water. Small #10 O-Rings for both drain plugs cured the air leak problem. Saved me from buying a $1000 pump and motor. Here’s to 20 more years.

Worked fine, no surprises. Time will tell about durability, hopefully a long time.

All components of this kit were exact replacements for my pump.
