I recently bought the mighty patch pimple patches and those are AMAZING! Get those too if you’re interested, but I bought this repair cream because I had a severe reaction to a facial moisturizer I purchased where I had a horrible, horrible break out all over my face, even in places I’ve not had pimples before. I’ve never had such a break out reaction to a product before so I searched on Amazon for a quick fix and I stumbled upon this. My break out was so bad I didn’t want to to leave my house and was going to cancel my appearance at a social event. I had newly forming as well as healing pimples that were starting to scab over (and I have a bad habit of picking), but this repair cream saved my skin! I applied to both new and healing spots. My skin healed extremely fast and I was shocked at the results! I wish I had taken before and after pics to show the difference because it only took 2 days to heal. Make sure to wash your skin prior and let your skin dry fully before applying. Do not apply any other products before this repair cream, no toner, nothing. This should be the first product applied after washing your face. The 2-day healing might’ve been sped up because I applied it 3 times throughout the day on day 2. I did apply to new pimples as well as ones that were healing, no burning or tingling sensation. I followed up with moisturizer and sunscreen. I actually avoided any product that was too watery after applying this cream - so I didn’t use toner or any serums after this cream.

The first time I bought this product was in 2022, so this is after 2 years of use! If you are someone like me who tends to pick and scratch at their blemishes a lot, then this product is a great step to add to your skincare routine post-pimple pop. It definitely sped up my healing time to 3-4 days as opposed to my normal 5-7. Other things to note: - It DOES NOT target hyperpigmentation and dark marks (it doesn't promote that it does, but some previous reviews have noted they used it for that). - It DOES target inflammation and redness that comes with irritation after a pimple pops. - You do not need a lot of product. A thin, pea-sized amount over the blemish works. - CONSISTENT USE, like with most skincare products, will yield you the best results. - I found to help prevent hyperpigmentation, using this product under sunscreen is best. All in all, I love this product and will continue to use it! I just wish they had a bigger size!

I absolutely love this product! I had no idea something like this existed when I came across it on Amazon. Now I know I can't live without it. I'm a 45 year old woman who had beautiful skin until diagnosed w ADD in adulthood and now struggles with regular flare ups that are a side effect of the medication I take and I can't avoid them bc the meds are so effective so I must deal. Then there's hormones. On top of that, I have OCD and I can't seem to keep my hands off of my face. Add to it stress and anxiety and you've got a prime candidate for bankruptcy due to the money I spend on facial products alone ( oh, and co-pays ). And yes, a complete mental case too! I used to apply a little bit of topical bacitracin to my face after I picked so as to avoid infection, but I'm not so sure it was working. I bought this here Rescue Balm stuff and it was just what I needed! It says to put a small amount on your pimple after you've treated it w a hydrocolloidal patch (they don't work for me). But I figured I'd try it on the messes I've created on my face from picking. Doesn't really say what it does or how it does it on the box but I just know it works. It somehow shrinks and eliminates the "mess" within hours if applied a couple times a day. It dries up the spot where you apply it but it does not dry or irritate your skin. Sensitive skin like mine tolerates it very well. I love the consistency of it and it doesn't burn at all and I sometimes apply it all over my face. Do use a good moisturizer with it though as directed. In a few hours (sometimes minutes for me) you will see it work it's magic. It's not meant as a spot treatment for under-the-skin acne, it's specialty is "picked" or "popped" blemishes or those just treated with a patch. I use it right on top of my Differin gel and then apply makeup right over it. It blends in and makes skin feel soft. It's a small tube but lasts a long time and it is not expensive at all. So, disclaimer- I've had this two years, because I am stubborn, and I nursed the hell out of it. It's sitting in a dark drawer, in an air conditioned room, when not in use (so, most times). I open it up for the first time in several months to notice the nozzle is damaged. The ointment inside smells... odd, is slightly clumped up, but spreads fine. When I buy this again, I'm just gonna bite the bullet and get the bigger package, if only to avoid this issue happening again. And I will say- the ointment itself? Magical. Definitely helps blemishes (open or otherwise) heal quicker, especially overnight. I try to use an astringent or other drying agent before I use this, just to make sure any oozing is to a minimum. I do think that helps matters too. It doesn't make everything disappear, mind you, but it does quicken healing from what I've noticed.

Y’all, this is the stuff. I use it for zits(best on freshly popped ones to keep them from getting angry looking) as well as in the corners of my lips during angular chelitis flare ups(for when the actual infection is gone but the corners of my lips are still a little raw). Honestly I put this on almost everything to help heal it. Tried it on a busted lip I got from my dog’s concrete head the other day and it was so much better looking the next day. This won’t make anything magically disappear, but it makes the healing process far less ugly looking. Would 100% recommend!

I love this stuff. Works great on compromised skin barrier and for popped zits. Makes them heal faster and smooths flaking skin. Doesn’t break me out. Good for anywhere moisture is needed.

i have hormonal acne. it’s such a pain. im 21 and it hasn’t stopped one bit since it toned down when i was maybe 16! im on prescriptions now and i can feel them starting to work but my newest priority is getting my zits down as soon as possible. patches are great—i put one on a whitehead (hard or soft), take it off and the cap with it, then put on one more patch to shield the open zit from the air for a few hours. any more and my stupid sensitive skin will break out from being covered for so long. which means if the zit isn’t done, it’ll just whitehead all over again! i used this stuff last night on a particularly nasty one on my chin. it’s been a week and it hasn’t stopped whiteheading. after taking off my patch i put this stuff on and left it overnight… NO LEAKING! if anything, it SHRANK! after one use! this stuff is awesome and absolutely worth the price. feels a little greasy after putting it on but it dries up in a few minutes or so.

It worked just fine. Doesn't completely remove the blemishes but lightens them.

This balm is a lifesaver. The panthenol in it is the star of the product. It helps the skin so much to get back the glow and minimize the redness. Would get it again for sure.
