My daughter can not fall asleep without it. We have had one since she was 1, and it stopped working now that she is almost 11. Got this as a replacement. It is very relaxing and, the volume control is good you. We just keep it plugged in all the time. Great for quality. Small and cute. I love the dimming light option as well.

When I got this sound machine it arrived hot from the heat of carrying it in a hot florida Amazon truck. It worked just fine, plugged it in and went thru all the sounds with seem like even more than 30. Very impressed! I have a disabled cat who is a Munchie and sleeps most the time. She has an arthritic hip but shes very keen to music and videos. She loves the space music and that was hard to find. But this machine has it! She is very content in her orthopedic bed w her color nightlight and her sound machine. Im so glad I purchased this! My other cats enjoy it too.

This is a loud, reliable, and useful product. Before I got this little machine, if I wanted to fall asleep to the sweet, salty sounds of the ocean, I needed to listen to a conch shell. Don't get me wrong, I quite enjoy picking up a shell and listening to it whilst closing my eyes and imagining myself at the beach, but that is enjoyable as a short pastime. Holding a shell up to your ear for five minutes can already become tiresome. Trying to maintain that all night? There's the rub (quite literally because I was irritating my skin in this endeavor). So, after one too many nights of nearly poking my eye out when rolling over, it was time to buy a sound machine. I did a bit of research looking at various helpful reviews, and landed on this machine (not literally, but it does seem like it could withstand it if I were to accidentally land on it). It has a plethora of sounds from which to choose, a large range of loudness, and a nightlight. So many options! But I really only needed it for my ocean noises, and it provides that reliably every night. I also like how it remembers the setting it was last at when turned off. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. More sound, less sand. Win-win

I just received this sound machine. I spent about 6 hours looking at and comparing sound machines before I settled on this particular model. It has a good number of sounds for the money I spent. It also had a $4.00 off coupon at the time I purchased it. But there were no agreements about positive reviews in exchange for the coupon. I'm not getting any type of remuneration for this review or the purchase of the product. I have no connections whatsoever with the manufacturer or the seller of this product, or any employee of either. The only connection I have is my purchase of the product with my own money, and with a clearly marked $4.00 coupon on the item page. I will not receive a refund for a review either. I haven't used it for sleeping yet, so I'll have to come back and update in a month or so after I've used it for awhile but honestly when I listen to it, it's loud enough to drown out the garbage truck, and the thump thump of bass music playing in cars going by, as well as other household noises. This machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. The one I bought is white with dark grey markings on the buttons. It has an orange light in the bottom of the unit which I don't need, but if you need a nightlight it is a nice feature. I turned it off right away. Using a regular old fashioned wooden ruler the top and bottom measure right about 4 inches, and it stands almost 2 inches tall. It has 4 little rubberized type pads about 1/3 inch wide on the bottom. They should be able to prevent most slipping and sliding but if you need a firmer non slip some velcro ought to work or one of those non skid things made to put under carpet corners. There any number of ways to prevent slipping. Like I said it's rubbery enough that it should prevent most slippage. The only drawback I can see is it takes one of those round plug ins. So you can't use just any USB power cord. This has a USB cord but has that pin type end that plugs into the side of the machine. It's not a deal breaker, but you can't just pull out one of those USB cords, to replace it, that I'm sure everyone has in their junk drawer. LOL. A power brick is included which is very nice because you won't have to juggle charging your phone, tablet , laptop and etcetera with using the sound machine all night. Cudos for an included power brick! So I got this little machine for $15.00 and change plus tax. I just opened the box, and removed the power brick and the power cord and plugged all of it up and in. The power button is clearly visible, and easy to press. The buttons are a good size and far enough apart that someone with big hands and fingers can press each button without pressing other buttons at the same time. Cudos to the person who designed this machine for the well thought out placement of the buttons. The buttons do NOT light up, so if you need buttons that light up go with a different machine. I don't require light up buttons so they're fine for me. Honestly even kids could operate this sound machine without instructions. I figured it out in a couple of minutes, without looking at the instructions, but I had them nearby just in case. The buttons are arranged in a semicircle around the top of the machine just above the speaker which is in the center of the top. It's a nice sized speaker. Each button is clearly marked with the operation it is for. I ran through all the sounds for which there are forward and backwards buttons, so you can go through the sounds from either direction. I need reading glasses and I could see these marking fine without reading glasses. Each button is a little over 3/4 an inch, and the speaker grill is approximately 2 inches wide and circular in shape, and it sits directly in the center on the top. There are 5 indicator lights that reflect the timer if you choose to use that function and they are a very bright white color when in use. The timer function can be set easily by turning the machine on a pressing the button with a clock face, and can be set for 1,2,3 or 4 hours, or infinite play with no time limit. The volume up and down buttons are clearly marked, and to go either up and down in volume doesn't take a lot of clicks. There is a comfortable increase of sound for each click. Cudos for that also. I've bought items before that take many many clicks to get to a good volume. This little machine gets LOUD. The machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. This white noise machine has been a great addition to our sleep routine. It offers a wide variety of soothing sounds—plenty to choose from whether you prefer white noise, nature sounds, or something softer. The volume range is excellent, with lots of levels so it works just as well for light sleepers as for blocking out louder background noise. I couldn’t be more happy with this sound machine! It works great and my kids love it. I love that it connects to my phone for easy access. It has tons of different sound options from music to nature sounds and the normal white/brown noise and lots of color options. It also gets really bright if needed.

I love this. My husband has used this exact model for travel for more than 3 years and it's still going strong -- it works really well in noisy hotel rooms, to the point where he now can't sleep w/o it. I bought this one for our bedroom and prefer it to my previous machine, the fan-driven D'Ohm, which blows dust and air around the room. I love the small size of this new machine, and appreciate how it can be made completely dark and how it remembers my last setting. I prefer the brown noise setting -- steady, lower frequency sound, at a medium volume.

I don’t know how I lived so long without this! This is perfect to shut off my ADHD brain when trying to sleep at night! Super easy to use with a lot of sound variation varieties. The cord removes which makes traveling with this device easy. It even has a lap function which doesn’t emit too much light, but is enough to provide light when walking around. I like to have it very dark to sleep so when I noticed the very tiny light that indicates which setting this was on I was peeved. However, you can very easily turn the light off! It does come in a variety of colors which is neat but not necessary. I love these machines so much that I have two!

Durch meinen Tinnitus den ich seit kurzer Zeit habe sah ich bei Amazon dieses kleine vielversprechende Gerät. Ich habe es davor mit meinem Internet Radio probiert und bin gescheitert da man die ganze Nacht nicht den 80er Sound hören kann. Dann bestellte ich mir schon verzweifelt diese Box und muss sagen es wirkt 🤗die vielen Geräusche machen es möglich. Ich schlafe derzeit mit dem knistern von Kamin Feuer ein man glaubt irgendwo auf einer verschneiten Hüte zu sein mit Bären Fell am kuscheln 😊Das weisse und braune R auschen ertrage ich nicht aber die Wasserfälle und die Klavier Sonaten sind sehr beruhigend. Also ich empfehle das Gerät sehr gerne und danke Amazon für die schnelle Lieferung 🤗ihr seid die Besten 😍danke

JE SUIS FULL EXCITÉ HAHA! Les sons sont vraiment intéressants. Il y en a que je n'aime pas du tout mais il y en a tellement que c'est presque pas possible de ne pas en trouver quelques uns qu'on aime. Je suis de type "bruit brun". Dans la liste il y en a juste un, mais y'a aussi des bruits de fan qui s'en rapprochent, et y'a aussi d'autres bruits de nature qui sont l'fun. Aussi la fonction "mémoire" est absolument essentielle à avoir et elle y est. Quand on ferme la machine et qu'on la réouvre le lendemain, elle s'ouvre avec les mêmes settings. Le volume est bon. Elle est petite, légère. Y'a 4 intensités à la veilleuse. Mais je ne l'ai pas acheté pour ça, je ne pense pas tant m'en servir. C'est une lumière blanche pas froid ni chaud, mais plus froid que chaud haha... bref, je reviendrai mettre mon commentaire à jour si jamais y'a un soucis. Sinon, je recommande :)
