Review for the Red Polaroid Cube+ 1440p Mini Lifestyle Action Camera with Wi-Fi & Image Stabilization. I love this thing. We strapped it to a drone and had some serious tumbles, but the camera still works just fine. This thing literally fell off my drone when I crashed into a tree, smashed onto the road, and rolled half a block. It was still recording when we found it. Not a scratch. This also works great for live streams on Facebook (I am not sure why there is a more expensive version that claims to only have this functionality). The Facebook Live video was even hilarious, as my ego was completely shattered by those with more aviation skills than myself.The video quality is crisp and clear. I love the wide angle.Yes, our phones have replaced a lot of functions over the years, but this certainly has a place next to your phone.The iPhone app works like crap on iPhone X.. .so hopefully they update it. The application is also very counter intuitive, and it took me a long time to even figure out how to review prior videos or change the camera settings.

So very disappointed with this product. Looks like a fun camera, but Polaroid can't seem to get it right. I purchased this earlier and got a dud that wouldn't turn on, so I returned it to Amazon and got another one, thinking it was a fluke. Well the next one did work when I opened the package, but now, as I try to use it for the 4th time EVER, it won't turn on or charge. Complete crap and a wast4e of money. And Polaroid does not offer money back guarantees.I suspect the dud I got the first time was from someone who sold theirs "used" and it just stopped working like my other one did. Should have gotten the GoPro. What a disappointment, and now I have all these useless accessories.

I honestly really like it! For the price it fits all of my needs. Takes decent photos, and the video quality really isn't that bad. Occasionally I'll get a bit of pixelation, but as long as the lighting is good then the video is useable for my needs. I haven't tried the audio, I mainly picked it up for time lapse (which it's okay at, only 1, or 3 second intervals, but I've found that fits my needs perfectly) and short "b-roll" type video, so I never intended to use the audio. I love the magnet, much more than I thought I would. I stuck it to the top of my car for a driving time lapse, and at 40mph it didn't budge, plus the video turned out awesome! And the user interface on the phone app works great. All in all I think I would rather have the gopro session 5 for a few extra features, but that was spendier than I wanted to go, and in the price range this little thing does everything I wanted. You can tell the videos and pictures aren't the highest quality when viewed on a larger screen (on my phone they looked great, not always through the app, it doesn't share the greatest quality. But on my 13inch computer screen you could start to tell) but for an 8mp camera this small I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Definitely better than my phone.Pros: size, magnet, ease of use, works while charging, silicone case (came with it, and works great for clipping it onto a bag to have it handy)Cons: not great in low light, or difficult lighting. Low battery life (I get somewhere around an hour or two out of it, but I keep an external battery charger on hand and plug it into that and it works no problem) and the fish eye effect.

Great size and colour and some photos turn out well; However, they need to be taken in perfect conditions. You need outdoor light and to hold perfectly still for the image to be clear.The app used to view photos has a lot of problems. It's slow and intermittently unresponsive. It can't playback videos or save them to your phone so they have to be viewed on your computer. Even there the playback is very slow and unable to save. Wouldn't recommend based on this, far too difficult to see your shots.

I started with the original 'Cube'- I got 2 in a row that had defective batteries- I cant recommend the original Cube cam..The new 'Cube +' is far superior to the old model in many regards, I'm glad I spent the extra money to get this camera.First, the form factor is great- it is less than 1.5 inches cube, and less than 2oz in weight,This small camera is fantastic mounted on my drones, they required very tiny adjustments to the PIDs to get make up for the extra weight.The magnet is a great feature and the rubber case with the recessed lens makes it nearly indestructible.This is a solid little camera for the money, great buy IMO.

I am happy with is Cube. A good improvement from the first one. The sound is not what I would like but for what I am doing it is perfect. I use it in the cold so far about zero F and no problem. It is nice to be able to aim it with my iPhone and start it recording and a stop it without having to run over to the camera.

I really wanted to like this camera. It is super small and compact and, at least one paper, it has all the features I was looking for. Unfortunately I had a lot of trouble getting it to turn on/off and also could never tell for sure if it was actually on and recording. (I was trying to use it for SCUBA diving in a waterproof case which made it difficult to see the little idiot light.) Additionally, I was never able to get it to record for more than 1-2 minutes before the battery died despite charging overnight. (Even after charging for 12 hours, it would still act like the battery was still charging). I don't know if mine was just defective or if they're all like that, but after getting zero usable footage one a dive trip, I'm not inclined to try again..

No complains in general, however, it tend to generate weird sounds (white noise) if you use this in an enclosed case, say a waterproof case for swimming or skiing, maybe it’s the problem of the case I bought, it seems to amp up the noise, if it is something you concern about, better test it out first once you got the camera so you can decide wheather to rerun it or no

La he estado usando en diferentes situaciones, en la bici, en la playa, en actividades físicas, y ha funcionado muy bien. Para un uso casual, la batería es más que suficiente para un día de grabación. El imán si bien no es una razón principal para comprarlo, si hace un buen diferenciador ya que es bastante útil siempre que encuentres donde colocarlo.En general me ha parecido muy buena, la calidad del video es suficiente, el audio si deja un poco que desear pero entiendo que al ser este tipo de cámaras, el tamaño y la falta de hardware más avanzado al estilo GoPro hace que se escuche lejano y a veces un poco distorsionado, pero nada que afecte a la experiencia general.Insisto, no es perfecta, pero para uso casual es más que buena!

Ho acquistato questa action cam volendo provare la sua qualità, praticità e piccole dimensioni. Nella confezione, oltre alla Polaroid, è inclusa la custodia antiurto e una microSd che fa sempre comodo anche se di piccola capienza. La Polaroid è dotata di Wi-Fi che permette la sincronizzazione con lo smartphone mediante la propria app, comodo per settare tutto e sapere cosa si sta inquadrando. La qualità video è buona, consiglio i 1080p per i suoi 60fps, buone anche le foto. La calamita rende gradevole il fissaggio su superfici metalliche ma secondo il mio parere è proprio qui che finiscono i pregi… per poter usufruire di tutti gli accessori in commercio, utili per le diverse occasioni, bisogna acquistare una case da parte e solo così sarà compatibile; non esiste un telecomando adatto ad essa per poter effettuare dei selfie o magari avviare la registrazione senza dover prima prendere la Polaroid e poi riporla dove la si vuole e catturare filmati o immagini. Tutto sommato sono contento dell’acquisto perché farò un uso prettamente occasionale, dove tutti i suoi aspetti negativi poco importano; quindi mi sento di consigliarla a tutti quelli che, come me, la useranno per divertimento e senza grosse pretese.
