I gave this a week to see how it would go. I’ve had SEVERAL onetouchs and they are good for about three readings before they fizzle out but this is very easy to use, needs less blood and it’s still going strong. But it will not sync with my phone. Still worth the purchase

This is a great Glucose monitor, and it's a great value. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I had no issues getting the unit paired with my phone. The entire process was very well documented. The included finger-prick device has a convenient lever to help remove the used lancet that I found to be very handy. I've done a few glucose tests, and the data gets uploaded quickly, within seconds. The monitor has a nice large screen, and the results are displayed in a large font size. Super easy to read.

I was suspicious if this very affordable glucose monitor would do its job and to my surprise, it far exceeds my expectation. Let me get the neg out of the way first. Connecting to its Bluetooth was a nightmare, just wasn't able to connect after 10+ tries. Found a YouTube video that help solve the issue, basically had to go to Bluetooth setting in iPhone and forget the CareSensNPlus (my model) device from My list (from previous failed connections), and then follow instruction to reconnect Bluetooth. After that I was successful in the connection, and thereafter, the Bluetooth has been solid, all measurement automatically uploads to iPhone once you pull out the test strip. I don't have any other monitor to compare but to me everything is solid and very easy to use, and nothing seems flimsy or will break anytime soon. I think its fairly accurate although again i don't have much to compare against, but it seems reasonable from my clinic test result, and has been fairly consistent from all of my testings. I'll likely get another kit to verify. The lancet tool is easy to use, just insert the lanset and twist the top. It has an adjustable needle length which is nice so you don't poke a larger than needed. A really nice touch is that It came with a very nice soft pouch that stores everything you needed on the go. I didn't think this would be useful but if i go to work, i can take it with me without looking for another bag that's not made for it. The pouch just holds everything neatly in place with its elastic straps and zipper pocket

Machine is very easy to use. The instructions and the manual need a good look. First, what about the cobtrol solution? If it needs to be used when using the first time, the quick start guide shoild say that. And is there only control A in this model? Then say that in the manual where it says what is in the package. Usually for any equipment with many components, there is a picture saying which is which and what are all the things in the bundle. Is there other control solution like Control A? What is the range of the control? The tiny print on the solution bottle is impossible to read and yoyr booklet does not say anything about the range but xxx-xxxx. So what is the point of a control solution if the users don't know the standard range? Please update your manual and e-post here. What is the control A solution' range? You can at least answrr that here very quickly. Thanks so much and I anticipate your reply soon.

I've been using this meter for 3 months now and love it. It is easy to use and the test strips are fairly inexpensive. I purchased this meter for its blue tooth capability. I found the instructions to set up the app quite easy (I'm 74) and syncing to my smart phone makes tracking my blood glucose very easy and makes reporting accurate readings to my physician quite simple. The first month I compared my glucose readings with my old meter and found them to be consistent. It uses a small blood sample and the reading is available within 5 seconds.

i was diagnosed with GD this pregnancy & so i decided to buy a meter off amazon instead of the insurance offered one & i do not regret it! i love that the screen is easy to read, the instructions were so easy to understand, it comes with everything you need, you get your results so fast, & the best part is it bluetooths to your phone so i don’t have to write down my numbers for my doctor! i definitely recommend this!

Lately I've been taking 2-3 readings for each test, and the variability concerns me. For example, testing this morning was 101, 108, and 114 which seems too variable. I've read the literature about what to do to make tests more accurate, and even so my I can't get my results to match. It seems to me that this is unacceptably inaccurate, but in truth, I don't know what accuracy to expect from any glucose test. The test process is straightforward and simple but not intuitive. I gave this product one star strictly due to lack of repeatability but I really don't know if othe glucose kits would be any better.

great meter and easy to use app. meter did not go into Bluetooth mode first time had to remove batteries and put back in before meter would go into Bluetooth mode and then connected to the app works great.
