Good fan but...
Love the fan! Great to beat the Florida summer heat. The battery that comes with it is their cheapest only 1.3 AH. You will want to buy a better one. The fan is cheaper at Home Depot though. Always buy tool only and shop for a bigger capacity battery preferably a 5 or 6 AH.

long lasting battery
The Ryobi fan works well for my vehicle while attending dog training seminars. The battery lasts most of the day and recharges quickly. My only dislike is the placement of the on/off switch.

This Ryobi fan comes with battery
After all the attempts to buy this from others on sale or otherwise the fan either did not include the battery or was not available. What I needed was there and it works better than expected. Easy to use and everything for those outdoor events.

Be careful what you order.
I had a friend that had a Ryobi portable fan that I liked, so I ordered the one listed on Amazon. Regrettably, not realizing that there was a smaller version, I did not sufficiently check the specifications. Given the price, I surmised that they were the same size. My mistake. Be cautious of the size of your fan being ordered. The good news is the smaller fan will work for me.

I ordered the Dewalt lithium fan and the Ryobi fan.
The Ryobi is about half the size and half the quality in my opinion. The Ryobi does not have any way to lock it at any particular angle. You just turn it and it seems kind or loose. I might have to put duct tape on it to make sure it stays at the angle it is pointed! The Dewalt, by comparison, clicks into place at different angles and as previously stated it is about twice the size.
