Perfect for LVP
Purchased these without high expectations but turned out very happy with this product. I luckily chose the correct size for my German shepherd and yellow lab.My husband and I are relatively light sleepers and would get woken up constantly by their tippy tapping in the middle of the night. I only had to put them in their front paws and it’s a night and day difference. They fit just a little snug so I pushed them on as far as I could and their walking around has pushed them on all the way. My yellow lab has had 2 fall off for whatever reason and I just slip them back on no problem. They come with super glue but I didn’t use it since the sizing is just right. They provide a little bit of grip I’ve noticed which is great for our 8 year old German shepherd. They are easy to use, seemingly durable, and even had no issues after a full day at the beach (again without glue.)

Great product & great company & service
I love these. The idea is great and I've used them on my 3 cats over the years and they worked great. I recently bought them for a pit bull we have that just loves to play and run and play tug of war which my hardwood floors hated. He hates getting his nails clipped so I thought this was going to be a battle just to get them on, but once he realized that this couldn't hurt him he was over it. The caps were a bit deep for the length of some of his nails but it's super simple to just cut them down, which is great that i could modify them for a perfect fit. They say to fill each cap half way with the glue, but I found it was way too much, so I do a drop in the bottom and run the tip of the glue along the inside edges with a second drop and it work great. Once they are on he couldn't care less, sometimes he licks a little just to see what I've done but recently he just gets up and goes. My only set back with these is that my pit bull is a bit of a brute and goes all in when he plays so unfortunately we have to be careful we don't drag him along the carpet or outside on the driveway or most textured surfaces because it'll shave them down very quickly. If we're careful we get about a week before a nail breaks through but like I said he's a real brute, unlike any other dog I've ever had so this issue may be completely irrelevant to most everyone else. Still buy them and use them just replace them more often but they are well worth it. Also this company is extremely accommodating with any questions or swooping out sizes or colors and they ship super fast.

Great price and came quickly
Great price and came quickly. I had some trouble getting them on my dog's nail. They weren't long enough to cover the entire nail even after trimming them as short as I could. They did stay on well but the tips had worn off in only a couple days. They may need to be made of a harder plastic for the bigger dogs.

Great for inactive dogs!
I really love these! They help get rid of the scratches whenever my dog jumps on me or paws at me. I feel much safer with my dog around my nieces knowing she won't scratch them. They stop her from leaving scratch marks on the doors and help prevent her from tearing up the floor (she still chews though). The problem I have with these is that my dog runs a lot! She's a bred sled dog, so the caps only stay on for about 3-4 days. It's possible I'm applying them wrong, but the adhesive works pretty well. She runs up to 16 mph so sometimes the tips will file off and the rest of the cap will stay on her nail for a while. Others will just fall off from the speed. Make sure to push the caps as far as you can quickly on the nail. If there's a bubble at the tip it's more likely to file off. If your dog is indoors most the time and not active, then these are perfect! They're nearly impossible to remove, so make sure you put them on right the first time. Last thing I noticed is that the clear caps get dirty really fast and then they stay dirty for a while. I would suggest getting an opaque cap that matches your dog. I will be getting white caps next time and see if they do better. Make sure your dog's nails are properly trimmed ahead of time, they won't fit well if the dog's nails are long. If you haven't kept up on the nail trimming for a while, I would suggest going a size up even after trimming the nails. The more often you trim your dog's nails, the shorter the quick becomes. A long quick means you'll need a bigger size. My dog is 42 lbs and these fit her pretty well, no adjustments needed. The package comes with 20 caps. I only put them on her front paws and none on her dew claws, so I can use them 2 times before needing new ones. If you put them on all 4 paws excluding the dew claws then you'll have a couple extra in case some fall off. I definitely suggest these if you're having troubles with digging in the house and if you're tired of being scratched by your dog.

Purrdy Paws - helps pets avoid slipping/scratching plus more!
So, I didn't actually buy this product to put on my dog's nails! I have a fruit picker with sharp wire ends, and it pierces and destroys the fruit I'm trying to pick. These were the perfect solution for protecting my fruit! The caps transformed the sharp ends to blunt soft ends. Problem solved.I thought of this solution because I am a veterinary technician and am familiar with this sort of product. While my review can't give specific insight on this exact product for dog nails, I can give these tips:-If your dog is not tolerant of having its paws handled, you will need help applying and removing this product. You may even need to have a groomer or veterinary professional do it for you. Try this when the dog is calm, with someone to hold them/pet/give treats. Do not force. Only do a nail or two at a time if the process is causing stress. Try to keep things brief and positive. (Pawsitive?)-If you are using this product to keep a dog from slipping, you only really need to apply to the middle two nails of each foot.-Proper size selection is important. It must be long/big enough to fit on nail tip but not so long that it covers sensitive skin-Trim nails before applying.-Don't apply too much glue or it will spill out on dog's sensitive skin and/or fur.
