Legend of Zelda Standard Notation Edition Songbook for Ocarina with CD

I like it.

What I love about this book is the combination of tabs plus standard music notation. It's a great teaching tool for new ocarina players who want to learn how to read sheet music.The illustrations are very charming. While some of the song arrangements are not in easy to play keys, Ab major seriously? There's nothing that should prove too daunting with practice. Anybody who is looking for a great collection of Legend of Zelda songs, should give this a try. It also comes with a fingering chart for 12 hole, 7 hole and 6 hole ocarinas and a CD with Zelda songs. The titles are in German but it is easy to figure out what they are if you are familiar with the music.

This is a high quality book that has lasted us 4 years. The newer version (volume 2) is very flimsy in comparison. I will be returning that one.

My daughter loves it!!! This song book is the best one yet! It not only shows a diagram on what holes to cover or uncover in order to get the right note, but it also shows the note played on the music staff. Awesome for those of us that can read music or those that want to be able to learn the actual notes so they can go on to play other treble clef music.

It not only has Zelda songs but the beginning has a bunch of crash course info on music theory that'll come in handy when learning. A lot of the text is in German but there's plenty of English too so don't worry.

it is very nice and well done, i do recommend getting it if you can for it's definitely worth the money
