Cat Toys Plus scratch and play post with attached ball for more kitty fun- more fun than catnip

perfect size for kittens, but my 11 week old kitten unravaled the bottom half of the ball within 30 minutes of setting it up and with only moderate play. I think quality control was off, cause it looked like only the bottom, top, and top half were glued, but not the bottom half so it just unraveled with little effort. I'm using some super glue to afix the rope to the bottom half - but I shouldnt have had to do this on day 1, little alone hour 1.Likely a manufacturing oversight..or at least I hope. Again, perfect size for a kitten - the main reason I bought it.5 star if it had made it at least a few months...but 2 stars for having to fix it on day 1.

Seems like a decently made product, but my cat didn't like it. When i put the catnip on it (I believe it came with some), he rubbed on it for 30 seconds, then never touched it again. He prefers to scratch the cardboard scratch pads instead of the twine wrapping. I tried and he wouldn't bat the ball around at all. It did not interest him as much as the snake-wand style thing to chase, or the ball-in-a-track thing.

smaller than expected and post does not seem very secure, my cat doesn't really care for it yet, even though I sprinkled catnip all over it... He'll only play with it if I help.

Very small and short. Cats need to be able to reach up to get full scratching stretch. Would be good for a kitten, maybe.

This is a nice enough post but my cats are not interested. I think the post is too short for their liking.

my cat ignored it until i sprayed some catnip mist on it, then she licked it & rubbed herself all over it; not much scratching, tho that may be just her, she's rather aloof & finicky...;0}
