114mg of anthocyanins, milled whole food, not just a dried juice powder, real deal
Ingredients: 100% Organic whole Maqui berries, freeze-dried, then milled into a fine powderTHAT'S IT!! Just whole food Maqui berries. Not a cheap product where it uses just dried juice, but it uses the whole berry. That's great! Freeze dried too!I add it to smoothies. There is no reason to expect a milled whole food to fully dissolve. It is not a matter of quality, it is a matter of understanding that a whole food can only reduce down so much. So add it to smoothies, add it to hot oats, add it to yogurt or baked goods. But by no means expect it to just denigrate. Maybe try a dried/dehydrated juice instead.I dont have a specific reason for using Maqui powder. It is a good antioxidant, has a pleasant taste. I dont always have fresh fruits and vegetables on hand, so I keep an assortment of freeze-dried items on hand to help add nutrition to my diet.Navitas is a trusted brand and have been using an assortment of products by this company for many years.

Great product, but a possible pricing issue(?)
The product quality is the best I've found, and I've been buying roughly four packages per month, but my last scheduled order was showing the price as $19.33 instead of the $12.18 price I authorized, so I had to cancel the order and cancel my subscription. I'm disappointed I will have to find another source.I started using this product because after a brain injury my mental focus and memory become "hostage" to the smallest metabolic changes. This product helps stabilize metabolism, which in turn supports better memory and focus. In addition, this product is high in anti-oxidants, and all antioxidants help reduce inflammation, which I experience as relief from pain and fatigue. (I can cite the research I found if anyone leaves a request--I'm not selling this, and I have no medical or nutritional training, I'm just saying what my own review of the research revealed, and what my own experience confirmed.)Navitas Organics Maqui Powder, 3 oz. Nice product but didn't work for me
I bought this hoping it would help my MGD dry eye. I went thru 2 packages and never noticed any difference. The quality seemed very good and it had good flavor.

It's ok. TBD for dry eye results
TBH this is my first experience with maqui. It is clumpy, perhaps old as others have described (maybe why it was on sale. It is still gritty and the clumps don't always dissolve. It is definitely tart, but thanks to another review I've been taking it with cottage cheese and stevia and I enjoy it. Yogurt is fine too, but I wouldn't try to drink it with water or a really simple smoothie--you need berries and other textures to conceal the texture and tartness. I don't know that it is helping my severe dry eyes, but I'll try another brand when this runs out to compare taste and texture. My dr said to give it at least 6 weeks of consistent use to determine if it helps.

Great stuff--highly potent
I first learned about maqui berries in a health food magazine, and couldn't wait to try it out. Not only is it jam packed with great vitamins and minerals, but it also has the highest antioxident value of any discovered fruit. The taste is very similar to the Acai berry, but in powder form, the maqui is quite bitter. I recommend mixing it with some other fruit. The way I use this powder is in a morning smoothie---it gives me a full day's worth of fruits and 1 serving of veggies all jam packed into my breakfast...I love this because it's always so hard to fit in fruits and veggies otherwise. My smoothie:2 tsp maqui powder1 tbsp chia seeds (also a super food)1 tbsp wheatgrass powder (another superfood)1/2 cup fresh or frozen fruit (I normally use strawberries, blueberries, or mango)6 or 7 ice cubes1/2 to 3/4 cup waterMakes me feel full all morning long. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
