Worked out great for commercial vacuum sealer plus have leftover for next time.

We love vacuum sealing and use our NutriChef PKVS50STS sealer quite regularly (this thing rocks), but unfortunately, after only a few months of use, the plastic OEM tape covering the heat-sealing bar on our sealer had burned through in a couple of spots, resulting in a number of bags burning through at the sealing area---enter this amazing Teflon/PTFE fabric tape! The tape was easy to cut and install on the the 17" dual-seal bar, and since this tape is fabric, rather than plastic, it should be far more resistant to any type of burn-through. All in all, the quality of this tape far exceeds that of the OEM and the fix resulted in better-than-anticipated outcome. And with thirty feet of this tape, in the unlikely event that this tape should fail or burn through, we have enough left over for many multiple repairs, resulting in an easy five-star review.

I was not sure what to expect for this tape... did not understand how or what it would be used for in a Vacuum Sealer Machine, but figured I'd check it out for use with my Foodsaver. But, even after getting this to review, I still haven't figured out exactly what it is meant for for such a machine. However I like to reuse some of my foodsaver bags, but to do so I have to keep cutting them down smaller and smaller and the dang machine wastes a full inch+ of the bag just to seal it shut. To help make by bag ready for sealing again, I carefully open the bag below the sealed edge, just enough to get out what is inside of it, then I cut off a bit of the the inch+ excess bag so that the next time I seal it shut, that seal line will be just slightly below the former seal line. The only hard part in the past was getting the bag to keep it's open edge shut just enough for bag end to go into my foodsaver, but it was difficult as painters tape would hold that great, nor would scotch tape, so that I could rarely get the end of the bag to go back into the sealer slot enough to engage the heat rod that seals the bag shut. But, this sealer tape works perfectly for this purpose!! I simply cut a piece just long enough to cover the cut section, then slide that end back into my Foodsaver and the heat rod engages and seals the bag perfectly. Once done, I can easily pull the piece of this teflon tape off and it actually has enough stickiness still on it so that can use it on another bag. A win for me! In addition to the above, I've uses strips of it wrapping some cords & cables (electrical, coax, etc.) together behind one of our TVs. Works great. A very small piece of it perfectly fixed the end of a 'cloth' retractable tape measure that I keep in my purse. The tape tore about a 1/4 inch past the little end of it that keeps it from retracting fully back into it's holder and thereby become worthless as you need that end in order to pull the tape out. That small little piece of this tape was able to wrap the two almost fully severed edges and firmly seal them in place. Plus it's thin enough that it still closes nicely and therefore has more life in it still. Another little win for it. Now, I did have one failure, but not surprising though. It was on my first test of the tape and that was the thought that perhaps I could use it on the underside edges of a couple of floor mats in my kitchen so that they'd not be able to keep slipping apart and letting crumbs and such under them. Well, for that job the tape just didn't have enough stickiness to hold tight for long.... they are still held slightly together, but small space that still opened between them showed that it wouldn't be my long term solution. But, again, that was just my first test of this tape, and I don't hold that against it. To wind up my thoughts on this tape, I'd say it is a great tape for some jobs for which my go-to gorilla tape or such would be too much. This tape does have a decent 'stick' on it and it's moisture resistant as well. Plus, finding how easy it was to pull off some things made it nice also as there are many times that I simply don't want to deal with sticky residue left behind when pulling tape off of something. So, find the right type of applications to use this tape for and you should be well satisfied. The cost for the amount of tape on the rolls is a fair price as well.

Needed new tape for a vaccum sealer but the widths are odd but add up to just under 1 inch. I bought this and found it easily cuts to size with a razorblade in a simple jig. Have already used for processing several animals and it works like new. Would highly reccommend if your old tape is going bad.

The price and quality of this is great. I did have to return it because it was not the correct size for my brand. Listing didn't include my size, but wishful thinking.

My cheap Chinese vacuum sealer had broken tape over the bar, a little wider than tape on the machine but I put this right over it, machine is now better than it was when it was brand new. High quality tape, and enough to last a lifetime probably.

I use this for woodworking jigs I make to use with my table saw, router etc. when I need things to slide smoothly and it works very well. Adhesion (to wood) is quite good though I have found it lifting on some applications (I ended up gluing it).

Néanmoins, ces adhésifs en PTFE ne sont pas exclusivement destinés à cette utilisation. De manière générale, étant résistant à la chaleur (environ 300°C), antiadhésif et même glissant, cet adhésif peut être utilisé n’importe où on veut protéger de la chaleur, ou n’importe où qui aurait un frottement qu'on veut éviter. Pour ma part, je m’en sers dans la réparation électronique. Lorsque je dois souder à l’air chaud sur un composant proche d’un élément en plastique comme un support à pile bouton, un connecteur, etc., je couvre le plastique de ce ruban et il est protégé pour éviter de l’endommager.

Ich habe es verwendet um die Gleiteigenschaften von Aluprofilen zu verbessern und es scheint zu funktionieren. Die Haftung auf Alu ist sehr gut, wenn die Oberfläche sauber und fettfrei ist. Ich hoffe dass es auch lange haltbar ist, aber ich habe keine hohe Belastung und erwarte daher keine Probleme. Mit dem Band will ich die Schmierung sparen. Das Profil gleitet mit dem Band auch sehr leise. Alles Gute und gerne wieder.
