Action Research 3rd Edition

One of the best books on action research

This was a required text for a graduate level class. The process the author describes is almost exactly like the ADDIE process. The only difference is that this book advocates for social justice which is fine but it doesn’t really make this a new innovative way to develop or evaluate curriculum. My overall rating of two stars is based on what I perceive as usable information that this book contains, less than 40%.

Definitely a good starting place for any student who is interested in doing action research. Jean McNiff explores all the issues involved in doing action research as a student.

Really was a great support and a great book to reference in my studies.
