Gives professional appearance
I upholstered my first chair. I found the tack strips easy to use. It gave the chair a very professional look. I can't imagine not using this when upholstering any other furniture. It doesn't require scissors-just tear off the length needed.

well, to begin with i have to thank Amazon servicxe very much. the delivery was suposed to be by the end of the year, beginning of 2021, but eventually the parcel arrived just today to my surprise. Worked well, wasn't quite what I expected.
I don't know why, but for some reason I was expecting this to have a sticky surface on one side. It didn't which was a bit disappointing, but actually probably made it easier to work with since the tackiness wouldn't have allowed the cambric fabric I used to have slid as easily. It worked for what I needed it for, but 10 yards wasn't quite enough. I would recommend others buy 15 yards to be safe for a small ottoman project.

Tack strip

Thin
It was pretty thin, I ended up going to a local upholstery shop for a thicker strip.

Not bad but
The curvature from the roll sticks with the paper board after it’s unrolled making it a little wonky when you attempt to lay it flat on the piece
