Yes it can be used on a marble floor. It can be used on any type of natural stone.

Does this have to be used exclusively on floors or can it also be used on marble and granite tile walls and countertops?

It is a stone and tile cleaner for floors...I believe there is another product for walls and counters.

What is the dilution ratio?

I have always used a 2-to*1 ratio and it seems to work well on my floors, I hope this helps.

I have black granite floors and every cleaner I've tried leaves residue will this leave a film?

I don't recommend this item at all. I also have black granite floors and this cleaner, when used as instructed, left very visible residue and streaks. The only thing that works for me is vacuum first, then use a steam mop. I purchased this one from Amazon, Bissell 1806 PowerFresh Deluxe Steam Mop, and it works like a charm.

A great floor cleaner

This is the only stone cleaner I use on our travertine floors. It cleans very well and the bottle lasts a long time. It is streak-free and gentle on the stone.
