cable quality and mouse grip issue very fast wear and tear

Its been 4 years since i bought this mouse. Till date, it's working perfectly well and I've had no issues at all. The buttons are still fully functional. Absolutely love it and definitely recommend

I purchased it for normal use purposes and its working Great. BUT, the thing which gives its premium feel is its weight. I got to know the reality of its weight after like using for 15 days when I was searching for a video "How to make the clicks of mouse silent" and was shocked to know that the company use "A HARD METAL PIECE" fitted inside it to increase its weight. Just due to its looks, feel and the compliments of others for my mouse, I didn't return it and now its been 6 months.If there was no metal piece inside it, I would have rated it 5/5 for daily use 😀

I've been using it since one year and it's still clicking without hesitation, I haven't used the side buttons much, almost forgot they are there, the scroll wheel sometimes resists to move so I just reverse and try to move it again, I haven't forced it to find out if it'll break so if you can be careful, go ahead and buy this. I got it for around ₹360. I've had only dell mice (MS111/116 series) prior to this and they all used to malfunction within 6 months.Pros: Abuse friendly left and right clickFull size ergonomic design1.8 meter cable opposed to 1.5m of some competitors.Sensor is accurate and smooth.Cons: Side buttons are flimsy, one of the buttons work half the time despite close to null usage in 1 year.[~My opinion~] I find the blue light distracting, it seeps through the shell and hit the eyes.Note: You can remap the sidebuttons via autohotkey, they're standard side buttons and can increase the polling rate to 1000hz via software hack!EDIT: 2023 update, it's still working! Clicks are still crisp, I've pressed the Left click about 1.8 million times, Right click about 55k and middle button 170k according to Whatpulse app, had this mouse for about 18 months.EDIT: Feb, 2023, Well, the DPI button no longer work and left click has double click issue now, funny how it all happened after posting a rave review smh, nonetheless I opened it up and fixed it, so it's kind of repairable but I'm going to buy a new mouse anyway.
