Amazing book, inside & out. The topics covered in this book are so incredibly interesting and really do spark the curiosity so you can then follow up online looking for more information on the subject if you choose to. Each topic has a brief introduction into different things related to death/funerals/beliefs and how different cultures perceive death itself, showing how the human perception of death has changed in chronological order. It may seem to others like this book would be really sad and depressing being related to death and all, but it actually shows the beautiful ways that different cultures celebrate the lives that their loved ones lived rather than looking at death as a constant negative, this book is a celebration of life and death. On top of the fantastic contents of this book, the book physically is stunning & looks really beautiful displayed, and the artwork featured alongside the text inside is beautiful. I received it as a Christmas gift and have been glued to it since, I’m so happy I got it. Please don’t hesitate to purchase this book, you won’t regret it.

Great book, lots of topics covered. Brief covering of each topic but gives enough to pique interest so it can be followed up elsewhere. Beautiful pictures and cover.

Great book about all the different ways throughout history people have died or have been executed. Does not get into religion too much, nor does it focus on one religion or belief.

This is a great book for people who have a hard time staying focused and getting through a book. Its all broken down to a brief description of all the different beliefs on what happens when you die. Each being only one page long. It doesnt really elaborate or go into great details just gives you a quick summary of what each belief is about which makes it easy for me someone who cant stay focused on one thing for too long to read. If you like long drawn out elaborate descriptions on things then this isnt your book. Beautiful artwork as well
