Factory part at a great price.
Our Fisher & Paykel washer has been great for the last 10+ years. The other day I noticed one of the fins on the agitator was broken. The other two were cracking and about to break. I was relieved to find that the agitator was easy to remove and was bracing myself for what these things were going to cost. (For some reason, appliance parts are often crazy expensive.) Most parts suppliers online were looking for $90+ dollars for this, but Amazon was 30% less. It's a genuine F&P part, and it's easy to replace.

Agitator is designed to fail
This is factory F&P replacement part and it is very simple to install. The fabric softener cup, is not included and you will also have to reuse the nylon wing nut to attach the agitator to the spline.Overall, this plastic part is rather flimsy and will definitely fail, then it will rip your clothes if you ignore it. You may need to replace this more than once over the life of the machine.

Very easy to replace.Received in OEM box.After many years, lower agitator fins developed vertical cracking where they bend to when washing, reducing washing performance.

This took literally five minutes to install. Fit perfectly, and has been working perfectly.It’s a little annoying that the manufacturer doesn’t tell you how to put the part it—we sourced that info from YouTube.But any OEM manufacturer worth their brand names should have a video tutorial link WITH THE PRODUCT. Maybe a simple QR scan to it, something, anything.Am I expecting too much?……
