I bought this for a 9 year old as a gift and she loved it. She puts positive messages on it in her room. It is fun that it lights up and it is easy to use. It seems to be very well made and a great value.

I bought this for my pre-teen granddaughter. She loves displaying it in her room and really enjoys all the letter, number, and emoji options to choose from. So many of them! I don't think she's used the markers with it yet but they're a nice way to add a personal touch to it, too. It props up on its bottom edge on her dresser but she's also moved it to the kitchen for certain holidays and added sayings specific for those days (i.e. Happy New Year, Happy Easter). The letters or emojis are easily slid into the first, second, or third row and are removed just as easily. If on at night, it's probably brighter than a traditional night light but can be used as one if needed. It comes with a USB cord for charging but it also has a place to put batteries if you prefer that mode of energy. Recommend.

Cute addition to my daughter’s room! It could be too bright in some kinds of lighting, we got the pink on and nothing has happened to the paint ever since we got it. It’s great quality. You need to add a couple of batteries or you can plug it in at an outlet.
