Keep in mind this is _Australian_ sandalwood, and definitely has a different scent than Indian. It is milder and while similar it absolutely has a different scent. It seems like a good quality oil though and is good if you like Australian sandalwood.

Perfect for use in soaps and bath soaks

I paid $36 for this tiny bottle of essential oil and I can't even smell it. I buy a lot of essential oils, including from this company and I had no idea they did not offer returns, even if the product may be old or of low quality. In this case, you not only have to read the fine print, you have to be able to find the no return disclaimer buried in verbiage to the right side of the page. Such pertinent info should be in bold print in a prominent area and Amazon should require their vendors to stand behind their products; especially for their PRIME customers. There was also no expiration date on this product, so I have no way of knowing how old it is! There are many reputable essential oil companies who stand behind their products and value their customer base. I will be buying from those companies in the future. I am part of large communities of people who use EO'S in our daily routine and I will also be sharing my experience with them. I did try to reach out to PT via Amazon, but I could not find contact info for them. I also tried to reach out to Amazon and received an automatic response saying returns were not accepted for this product. (There was no option for explanation of the problem). It wasn't until my credit card company reached out to Amazon that they responded to my complaint saying I should have reached out to them first??? Apparently, Amazon stated in so many words that I received the product and that was the end of the discussion. Wow. Thankfully, my CC card company values their customers. I am very disappointed in this Plant Therapy purchase and in Amazon Prime. Buyer Beware!

This Sandalwood EO is almost as precious as Gold! I love it. I use it in all my skincare DIY’s. My only issue is, I need so much more of this but it is so expensive. That and the Rose EO that Plant Therapy offers. However, the quality is worth the price!

I bought about 7 different sandalwood essential oils and this was the best that I've found. Highly recommended. Great authentic scent, worth the price.

Not only one of the best oils, but also sustainably sourced. I called Plant Therapy a couple of years ago to inquire on their Sandalwood tree replanting policy: they replant 12 trees for every one harvested.
