Fuel Gas Tank Cap Keys Set compatible For Yamaha DragStar Vstar XVS650 950 1100 1998-2017

I wasn't sure if this cap would work after reading some of the other reviews but the price was right so i took a chance. Rhe fit is a bit snug but it works great. And since I've had to take it off a put it back on several times to fuel up it's fir has only gotten better.

Does not fit a road star may fit a 650 or 1100 because their fuel neck is shorter but a road star with the longer fuel Neck it will not work. What a shame because it clearly states it will fit a road star. Fit Yes. work no. In order to be a functional gas cap it Has to stay on the bike

Very happy with this gas cap. Cap with lock and 2 keys vastly cheaper than buying OEM. Only issue was at first I could not get it to fit [lock on]. I just had to push hard until it bedded in to the fuel tank. Works great now.

1999 1100 very tight fit on stock tank, kinda have to hammer hand it on even with lock disengaged ,and had to pry off with the little pry bar i carry in my tool kit. Keys are not as pictured mine are huge and bulky bigger than my truck keys......so i melted one to a little slimmer size.

For the first month, it’s quite difficult to get the cap off the tank. Works fine after a month or so when rubber finally settles

Cap does fit but tight to put on and take off and be careful not to break the key

Decent looking for the price . Fit in very snugg with added pressure. Now I can't get it off. I will update when I figure a way to pry it off without damaging tank and figure out some ease of us techniques. I saw some screws on the underside maybe it can be adjusted .

The media could not be loaded.  Fit my 2007 V star 650 perfectly..BUT..I think I got a bad one. Key WILL NOT come out when cap is in place. I will try another one. Think it just has a defective lock assembly...other than that I would highly recommend. Will update when the new one comes.
