Ujinotsuyu Japanese Loose Brown Rice Green Tea - Twin Packs - 2x 14.01 Oz - Genmai Cha (Genmaicha)

As tasty a genmaicha as I had in Osaka.

I've purchased this repeatedly. It's always been fresh and aromatic. A favorite of mine and I often serve it to family and friends. It brews quickly and at a lower temp so it's ready to drink without much of a wait. A nice toasted rice aroma fills the top of the cup and drifts in the room.

This is an EXCELLENT green tea in my opinion! I love the taste of the toasted brown rice and it's very prominent in this tea. Great value I will be repurchasing this.

My first purchase of Genmai Cha was Davidson's Bulk and loved it. Picked this up because it was a little cheaper per ounce. Now that I've brewed a few cups I can see why, There is a much higher percentage of rice to green tea in this brand. Even so it still brewed into a very pleasant tea with a nice green tea flavor overlaid with the toasty taste of the rice. If you're looking for a stronger green tea flavor I would go with Davidson's Bulk but I kind of like the stronger toasty rice flavor.

My 10 year old son and I cant get enough of this tea. It might be not for everyone, its on savory side, not good with honey or lemon but it has a great taste on its own.

I've tried a lot of genmaicha, and this remains my favorite. I used to buy it from my local asian store, but they quit carrying it after covid. Glad I can still find it on amazon

I have used this for over a year and have found it to be superb. Green tea roasted rice in it has a super flavor.

Brew it right and you’ll have a delicious tea!!
