VIPARSPECTRA P1000 Grow Lights for Indoor Plants, 2x2ft 3x3ft Coverage

My peppers grew really well under this light.

Arrived on time and usual excellent quality.

Firstly I think it's worth mentioning, that one of the red LEDs is an IR and appears dimmer than the rest. This is normal. I have two of these lights and they are both the same, when you check the IR is actually a double cell. I was only using the one light at the time and assumed it was a fault. Viparspectra responded to my message within hours which is good to know. The lights are powerful and seem to give good vegetative growth so far. Basil is growing super fast, and chillis are now putting out flowers. Both have only been under the lights for 10 days so it's early but everything I am seeing is good so far. I'll be starting more chillis, peppers and tomatoes under these lights to get the start on the season before moving them outside when frost risk has gone. I'll also use them for hydroponic herbs and salads through the winter my only unknown is the longevity of the leds, but I don't grow anything 'medicinal' so they aren't used 12 months of the year. If they were I might have contemplated paying the extra for the new XS which has Samsung Leds and a well known brand of ballast. Either way I wish Viparspectra well with their brand development and bringing some good competition to the reasonably priced side of the hydroponics lighting market.

Replaced as burned out 750w viperspectra light with the p1000, it's silent, it produces very little heat although you do need 12" between light and plant tops to stop leaf burn but that's more due to light intensity than heat output, very little heat. Would be perfect for a cupboard grow or small tent. I had stretched plants due to the old light and this has stopped them dead and brought out first budding very well. It outputs White light, which is strange and a first for me having only used red spectrum before, so not sure how it compares yet. It's very bright although i'd suggest a 250w hps is brighter. Price is too high tbh, needs 40-50 quid knocked off imo, then it would be a perfect first grow light. 4/5.

Used this next to a phizlon unit to do a side by side test. This light is the one to have. When on full power you can see the difference in brightness, but more importantly the difference in plant vigour and size was surprising. The pepper plants under this light where nearly x2 the size with thicker stems. I would recommend.

I am very impressed with the quality, not necessarily the cheapest, but I'd rather pay a little more for a quality product that is well built with good functionality & very bright . The dimmer is great & it comes with height adjustors to make it easy to raise & lower unit above plants depending on requirements. Overall a good quality product.

An absolute belter of a light, unrivalled for quality at this price point. Uses a much bluer spectrum than Mh which looks very intense and ' bright'. I got a P600 and was impressed and the P1000 is even better, giving slightly less PFD than the ts1000 but for a whopping 33% less power - yet the same flowering footprint! Im getting another 2 of these they are just unreal, absolute bargain at £105 (with £25 Amazon discount).

This is a good light, i noticed the difference straight away, good unit, fast delivery, good price

Wäre n' rundes Ding, aber ohne EU-Stecker im Lieferumfang leider nicht betriebsbereit!! Wenigstens ne Info darüber fänd ich gut.
