Z Wave FortrezZ WWA-01AA Wireless Water Alarm (2nd Generation) with buzzer

If you own a z-wave set up, get this! It'll give you the temperature ( which for me is fantastic ) and when a leak has occurred. This was VERY easy to include into my Vera 2. Once there, I can set which of the accounts to be notified if there is a leak. I actually own two in my home: one for my A/C unit drip pan ( which is in the attic above my kitchen - Acadian style home ) and one in the water heater pan. You can set this to email, text and/or beep an alarm though the alarm is NOT as loud as I'd like it to be.Suggestion: since I can see all my z wave devices in my network with my phone, the battery level also shows up. I use this to send me an email once it hits a specific temperature ONLY to show me that the battery and the device is still functioning correctly periodically..

We have several Z-Wave devices all controlled by Nexia Home Automation and I wanted the water alarms in our air conditioning units since they are in our attic. They paired very easily and have worked great since we purchased them. The temperature feature has actually been nice as well to see how hot the attic is during the summer.

So far seems to be working. No water detected yet which I'm very happy about.
