GCI Outdoor SunShade Comfort Pro Camping Chair

This chair was perfect! Firm seat, not too low and not too high (I am 5'3" and my feet touch the ground but I could also sit back and swing them if I wanted too!). Solid feeling and love the adjustable canopy!

Comfortable and easy to use.

We bought these to watch our child play soccer. The first thing I will say is that these chairs are big. We previously had the $20 versions that you can buy at CVS which fell apart after a year. These are solidly built chairs. Really nice. But they are much higher and wider than the cheapos. I am 5’8” and my wife is 5’1” and I can just barely touch the ground with my heels if I’m sitting properly on the chair. With that said though, we still like them a lot and won’t be returning them. We can tolerate the height because we are rarely sitting back in these chairs which is when you really feel like you’re in a captains chair. We expect they will start to sag as we use them more and more as well. Also, the awnings work really well and the drink holder is big enough to get the larger Stanley and Yeti cups in them. Also, the carry bag is significantly bigger than the cheapos but they aren’t crazy heavy so not bad to lug across a field or two. However, they can be a little burdensome to fit in the back of a car or even a mid-size suv. I have a grand cherokee and I can’t lay these things down flat in the back storage area. I need to put them on an angle.. All that aside, the chairs are impressive and built to last..

The chair itself is excellent quality, durable and comfortable. The chair is easily 5. Though the cargo bag is of poor durable quality. The rating on the bag is 1/2. We bought 2 chairs in April 2025 and the cargo bag did not last. The bottoms are failing(holes and seams are ripping open, therefore unable to use cargo bags further.

Worth the money

Cool, breezy and comfy! Purchased to use and my son's sporting events while going through chemotherapy and seriously wish I would have purchased it years ago! My only thing to note is the size of it when folded up as it's a little bulky, but well worth it for the added shade and comfort. Windy day? The shad part does blow and move with strong winds, but this is easily fixed with a short bunnies! I'm 5'5 and my feet don't touch the ground all the way, but personally I like this because I can kick my feet and move around easier when board during all day tournaments! ⚾️ 😃

Worked great for a few months and now it’s not closing. It’s like it locks up. This is the second chair I have had that did this.

Fantastic sun shade chair! Very durable and comfortable, it’s the nicest outdoor chair I’ve ever owned. No assembly required which I really appreciated, sits up high and can hold more weight than generic brands. I use this at my nephews soccer games and I’m constantly getting asked that brand of chair if is :)

this is a great chair. my summer was spent sitting outside at tournaments all day long on the weekends and evening practices. the built in sunshade is amazing. having a phone holder and cup holder great. i think that i will go for the rocking version if i see it go on sale.
