The working ones brilliant saves having extension leadsReceiving a faulty one meant an extra trip by the handyman to fit it as I’m not confident dealing with electricity and don’t have the confidence to do for many may be a simple job - if I hadn’t been sent a faulty unit would have given 5 stars but such a palava to print labels and drop off to send back

Good fit, used to swap a fuse in the kitchen
This converts a one-gang whatever-there-was-there, with a 3-gang socket with a fuse. As it's on top, it will protrude 25 mm.My kitchen has one-gang fused boxes all over the counter (for the washing machine, the oven light, the gas spark thingy, the air extractor, the air extractor light, you name it), and just one electrical socket.As this comes with a fuse too, I've replaced the one-gang fuse box with this 3-gang socket and it's changed my life :-PIf you know how to replace an electrical socket, you can install this.

Chinese unsafe rubbish
Item arrived on time with reasonable packaging. When opened for examination the Fuse would not open with normal small screwdriver and require some force with a different tool to open, The fitting needed some modification at source. I tried the screws for wire fitting, the Live and Ground screws were easy to move, the Live too loose as it vanished within the covered area. The neutral screw I could not move with the normal screwdriver and needed a special tool to move it. I needed to remove the base cover to find the missing Live screw and discovered the mechanism to be of a unsafe fitment, I would certainly not use the item in any electrical circuit in my home or anywhere else. The only place for this item was the waste bins. I have therefore lost £ by buying unsafe rubbish with no return of money. I would advise anyone thinking of buying this item not to do so but look for a better made 3 socket box
