decent flashlight
This is a decent flashlight. The light is bright and white. The light is scattered and widespread. It is broadly dispersed like a floodlight. The beam is brightest in the center spot and gets dimmer as it radiates out. There are no rings in the beam. The diffused light gradually changes shades. The beam is not adjustable and cannot be focused. The flashlight will illuminate a (13 × 21) foot room very well. It will also illuminate a (25 × 45) foot basement adequately. I like the location of the switch. It seems like most flashlights now have tactical switches which are located on the rear end. Hey, we are not all on the special enforcers forced entry enforcement force. We don't all want flashlights designed for use with weapons and forced entries. The flashlight feels solid and well made. The switch feels heavy duty. When the switch engages it makes a very loud solid click. I am 100% satisfied. If I had to find something to criticize it would be this : the switch is extremely hard to push. You need a very strong finger to push this button. I am not sure if the issue is the switch, the rubber cover, the small diameter switch hole, or my large apeish thumb. In order to operate the switch I have to rotate the button so it faces down toward the floor. I then pull up hard on the switch with my big middle monkey finger untill it clicks. This is the best method I have found. I find it difficult to operate it any other way. I bought two of these flashlights and they both operate the same way. My guess is that over time the switch will wear in and become easier to use. If this occurs I will change my rating to five stars. The button is not a big issue for me, but for some it could be difficult to use. Everything that It wrote is truthful to Its experience. This is only Its opinion. Yours may be completely different. If yours is different, It sorry. Ignore It. Taste is subjective. You only live once. Good luck.

Good homeowner light but not for first responders
Decent for a cheap unit. No beam focus, side button is ok but if you are used to a tail cap switch it is awkward. Good homeowner / boat / toolbox light... NOT FOR ACTUAL TACTICAL USE!Price is such that you can put several around the places where you might need light. My first light was defective and had too be exchanged which was done promptly but is a pain to have to deal with... I urge caution, probably better choices but most are more expensive.I am a BIG fan of AA battery lights for most uses as these are easy and cheap to find. In an emergency situation of any duration the Lithium 123 units will be very hard to come by.In Review - good homeowner light due to price point and brightness and it's side button is familiar to most people but a liability for first responders like myself. That said I have bought 3 for car, boat and desk drawer to supplement my higher end units and I do like the AA batteries.

Good quality and powerful flashlight !
I have a lot of different flashlights, from different brands and for different purposes. When I bought this one, I was looking for a flashlight that would be efficient, using regular batteries (AA), and strong. The fact that there were no reviews on this product made me casting doubts before purchasing, but I gave it a try.I have to say that I have no regrets, it's a powerful compact light, and it is definitely resistant and good quality. The grip is good too. This flashlight is now in my car, and I recommend it.

Nice flash light - Bright -
This is a good flash light. I got my first Smith and Wesson flash light many years ago. It was not led so I converted it. It died after I left flat batteries in it. Only problem with LED flash lights, it is difficult to know when to replace the batteries because they just keep working. I like this one, just wish it looked more like my first one, but that's okay. The button is on the side for easy thumb use, I like it that way, but, if you put it in your pocket, it might turn on.

The pictures looks really deceiving from making it look like a mid-sized flashlight
This flash light was A LOT smaller than I thought. The pictures looks really deceiving from making it look like a mid-sized flashlight. But it is really bright though so I like that.

Great Small Flashlight
Used this over 3 years and it is very good construction, solid and durable. Bright light, batteries last a good amount of time and is my favorite flashlight.

ok for home use, bad quality
Small, handy for home projects. Not as bright as others found at same price (energizer flashlight) two weeks on daily use and the beam flickers a little. drop it to the floor a few times still works. I need a brighter beam for work so I would try another.Update : two weeks of use and glass or plastic came off while climbing a ladder, the front tip hit with minimal force the ladder and the glass flew away with the o ring. I now have a flash light with no glass cover. will never recommend for work or daily use.
