*UPDATED*The picture is good. Battery life terrible, charged it 39 hours ago and it's at 10% again. I have not even looked at the cam video or anything to drain it like this. Cannot figure out why I get nothing on my cell when we push the button. I have the app open or running and nothing comes up on my screen when someone comes by. I wrote to support but haven't gotten anything to help fix these issues.*UPDATE* 3-23-21 So I was not happy with this item with battery draw and not popping up on my cell. One night I was fiddling with the settings and another screen pops up with more features but greyed out, I saw a firmware update. I downloaded the update and the device rebooted, I then went back into the screen with PIM or PIR it says and it was set on high whick kills the battery fast! Changed it to low and the device works great now and been over 2 weeks without having to charge it again. Hope this helps others if having issues. Install it then check firmware asap! Good day!

I've had this device for a little over 30 days and I've had to charge the batteries twice. The app shows charged a 100% but is not. In the add it states can last up to 6 month with charge. That is a lie. I don't even leave the motion sensor on and the battery drains fast. Plus, if you have the motion sensor on it picks up every single movement even on the low setting. I should have bought the RING>>> Uodate, I’ve had this for a little over 6 months and now doesn’t work at all!!! Nice

Where to begin... Just don’t buy... different failure every day... company replaced as it arrived broken... then one problem after another... pic failure... pixel breakups... 10% battery in one day... offline constant issues... I am electronic savvy... Not user error... product 2 foot from router with router running top notch... still goes offline...

It's a comprehensive package containing everything needed with even some tools and screws included. I installed a the door frame with my own (shorter) screws and it sits now very tight there. Connecting the camera to the WiFi router was not too difficult with the detailed instructions. Connection now is stable and so I check what's going on at home from everywhere and even give some advise if somebody it knocking at my door and of course even more important I can see, who's there. Video quality day and night are above my expectations. The doorbell runs now from battery power and it looks like it will last quite some time since it's still almost full. The additional doorbell helps me, since I don't have an Alexa camera on the side, so I get notification when somebody hits the door bell and I'm not on my phone.

Set up is easy. It uses the Smart Things platform that many other connected devices already use. You can get alerts on your phone and through the connected doorbell alarm that simply plugs into any standard outlet. Picture quality is quite good. Although the video lags a little bit, I would say it is on par with other web-connected cameras we have used (Wyze, Arlo).The one thing I found confusing was that the instructions indicate there is a way to connect this device to a wired doorbell setup, which would be great for most people's homes. Unfortunately, I could not figure out how that is supposed to work. Perhaps it is something that is supported in a different version other than the one I purchased. Oh well.

This is a great video doorbell for the price. My only 2 gripes with it is the housing quality first. Ive broken both of the security clips on it so now I have to tape it to the housing to keep it on. The second is the battery life is pathetic. It never lasted the 3-6 months as advertised. I got 2 weeks if that and after an update I was lucky to get 3-4 days. I've remedied that by purchasing a plug in transformer that sends constant power to the device that eliminates the need for the batteries. Glad I only paid $60 for it or I'd be pretty upset, but have to factor in the $30 I wasted on new batteries I bought that I thought I needed, $5 in doorbell wire that didn't work because my house transformer is too old to run it, and $15 for the plug in transformer I had to buy because the advertised battery life is a complete lie.

Worst purchase ever!! It only shows snap shots of who is at the door unless you have it on live mode. Also the battery must be recharged every 3-5 days and it takes a while to charge. I could not be more disappointed. I have kind of given up on this because it is so labor intensive on the battery charge and it does not show me good info anyway had to put up other camera's just to see a video platform instead of snap shot. Also it notifies you the battery is low every minuet or so, I had to turn off notifications off on my phone because it was so intrusive. Buyer Beware terrible purchase and you will just have to purchase a different brand because this is so terrible

My household had been thinking of getting a Ring because there have been a few items throughout all of us that have said delivered and we never got. Friend mentioned that a ring is ok but there are other options so I looked around and settled for this one. Better price than the ring and honestly it’s amazing for the price.Super easy to install. Put the plate on over where my door bells use to be and then just slid on the ring. The setting up of the device is super easy as well. Took all but 3 mins. The picture quality is great. And I like that it really does send you an alert everytime it senses someone. And I LOVE the doorbell plug in. I put it in my room so I am able to hear when someone rings the bell. There’s a LOT more settings I’m looking forward to trying in the smart hub that is available through the app. So if you are thinking of getting a video doorbell, this one is great and I’m glad I got it over ring
