Solar Robot Kits STEM Toys for Boys and Girls Science Kits for Kids

The solar panel is sized well for the scale of the robot. The robot parts were easy to remove from their packaging. This looks like a great educational engineering start-up for my 7.5 yr old The robot gave my son hours of playtime. The best thing was seeing how accomplished he felt when he finished. A wonderful investment. Definitely recommend.

The package is quite good with very clear instructions inside. All particles are well organized. Although it took some time to dissemble all particles, the assemble is quite easy, but be very careful about the electric lines connected with motors. After some exploration with my kid, we placed the robot car under the sunshine, at first it didn’t work.But be patient, because after a few hours the motor began to work and wheels started rolling, which really excited us. I think it took some time for the solar to gain enough energy to start the motor and wheels. We like this solar robot very much, it brought us so much fun.

Great toy for kids of 9+ age. It was not very hard to assemble by the kid, body part alone needed some adult guidance and it had motor and gear wheels etc. The flexibility to create many models with the single kit is a great advantage. Helps to learn about the motor movement and also on solar energy. Kids had great experience to find the toy assembled by them to move, that too on sunlight.

Update: a quick email to customer service and we were back in business with a replacement sent out. We finished up the auto-robot and my 7 year old daughter had a blast building. The only knock I have against the product is the tedious process of removing and preparing all the pieces from the molds. If that and the hours it takes wasn’t left to the buyer then this would be 5-stars.Original Review: The thing is a beast to assemble. We got the gearbox and head assembled and tried to test as directed, but it does not work. We tried using a power source (battery) as an alternative to the solar panel and that worked, so it looks like a defect with the solar panel, but we are now just waiting for support...

My 4 year old and 7 year old LOVED this. They were so excited about it. Even popping out the pieces from the case made them happy. Definitely recommend.

Great project for the kids, my 8 and 10-year-old loved it! My kids love Lego so this is a good fit for them. But the bonus is the mechanic's aspect of this toy. The price of this toy is really good compared to the quality that you get. Cool product directions easy to follow.

I gave this to my 9-year-old nephew for his birthday. This though serves on an educational level which is awesome and he is looking forward to learning the solar part now and would like more projects in the future. Toys are fun, products are of good quality.

Good Start for beginners！STEM robot kits is definitely a super hot product right now. I know my nieces are both very into robotics, and they have a lot of friends getting into them too. Everyone is getting into it. It is much smaller than I thought it would be but it is still really cool.
