This 14 tooth front sprocket is what should be on a DR650 from factory. It makes the power band much more usable, off-road, and on the highway. Even though there are higher RPMs at 70 mph, for some reason, there is less vibrations through the handlebars. Love how the bike accelerates now and lifts the front tire in first gear.

Installed on a 2006 DR650 with stock 42 tooth sprocket in the rear. Gets the gearing where I want for on/off road exploration. Sprocket is quality piece for the price. Sprocket retainer and bolts line up and screw in with ease. At that price point, you can chuck the sprockets whenever you feel like. I have been getting 8 to 10 thousand miles 90/10 on/off road. About 5 to 7 thousand 60/40 on/off road.
