2 wks and counting - works perfectly
Installed it two weeks ago. Fridge doing exactly what it should since then. Install tip - if you see black goop (mastic) around the old sensor, leave it there. If yours is like mine, give the plastic housing that the mastic sits on, and which encloses the sensor, a 180 pivot around the coil it's sitting on, and there you'll see the sensor.

So far it’s done the job
I bought this part to fix the temperature regulator in my Samsung fridge. Like most other Samsungs, my fridge had a frozen back panel resulting in the fan stopping and losing temperature control. I googled and you tubed how to fix the thing and had to look up this part to replace as well. I was able to defrost the fridge and replace the part fairly easily. I was told by a repair man that an aftermarket part would likely fail, but so far my fridge is running just fine and hasn’t frozen over again. So far, so good. Just do your due diligence on part numbers…took me some googling to find the right one.

Fixed icing issues on Samsung Refrigerator
I was having terrible icing issues with my Samsung refrigerator. After trying numerous fixes including added insulation and a different drip edge into the drain, as well as a new fan, I gave this a shot and my fridge started running its regular defrosting again. Hopefully this fix will last for a while. Fridge is definitely colder and food is no longer spoiling.

Product only last 1 month
Purchased on 5/21/25 and failed 6/27/25. Just outside the ability to return to Amazon. Purchasing from another vendor, with a spare to see if this will last longer. It's a bit of a chore to remove everything from the refrigerator (food and shelving), then defrost the back panel to remove it, replace the thermistor, and put everything back again.

Samsung cold sensor replacement.
Bought it, broke the back cover at the bottle a little bit but put it back together a month ago and it’s still working perfectly.
