Probably because it's a food product, not regular fresh food. It's a stupid law in some states.

Q: Packaging bad? Here's a hint. Mark item as a gift and the box will be put into another box or bag. Better protection.

These are good arrived in great shape, filling but have water handy.

Q: What's the shelf life on these? I just ordered a box and they taste stale with an expiration date of August 2022. Is a 2-3 month shelf life normal?
