The first thing that struck me when I received these shoes is the apperant quality. You do, of course, need a whole to really know the quality of a shoe but the look and feel well made.I was also surprised with how comfortable they are right off the bat. You don't get that with many dress shoes.They are unique, comfortable and seem to be well made. Definitely worth the $50 I spent!

Very good looking shoe. They seem to run a bit small and are a little stiff. However, they are not too uncomfortable, and perhaps after wearing a few times they will break in and feel better for all day wearing.

I love this new pair of shoes, they look very nice with a pair of dark jeans. They are EXTREMELY stiff the first few days and they will hurt your feet, no way around it. The leather is pretty rigid but it will soften up quickly and become comfortable if you stick to it.I'm happy I added this shoe to my weekly rotation, it looks more expensive than it really is and I get a lot of compliments.Note about stiffness: I'm comparing this shoes with some nice English or Italian shoes, not with your run-of-the-mill cheapo "elegant" shoes.

So far very happy, fit my foot well and seem to be very well made. Will take awhile to break in but that’s what I expected.

Good looking, comfortable shoe. Can pass for a dress shoe. I like the burgundy color which seems a little rare these days. I have worn Clark's for years. Have one pair which I purchased after Achilles rupture surgery 17 years ago that still look good and are worn frequently, albeit the sole is going. Unfortunately they don't make that model any longer.

Comfortable, good looking shoes. Not sure if the arch support will continue to be adequate but fortunately the liner is removable and can be replaced (which I have done with other Clark's). Very happy with this purchase.

I normally use a size 8, but did order 8.5 because I saw the comments are a fair bit, as I have with me I realized that they are a bit tight on the sides of perfect rest, have to be ordered half size but that's all.

For the price, these are incredible. I knocked off a star because they come looking a bit worn on the toes. Guessing this is a style thing, but I'd rather wear them into that look than have the manufacturer distress them.
