I bought this case for my grandson's new ipod. I have put off writing a review until we could see how well it performed. Yesterday, I was doing laundry. When I completed a load of my grandson's clothes, I found his ipod in the bottom of the washing machine. I was sick. He just bought the ipod and I thought I had ruined it. When I took it to him, he plugged it in. To our complete surprise, the ipod was completely UNDAMAGED! The case was scratched, but the ipod was in perfect condition. To say I highly recommend this case in an understatement! I can't imagine better protection for an ipod.

Its perfect for my ipod touch 6....i live in Florida so the weather can suprise you sometimes and i didnt want to ruin my ipod if i happened to get caught in the rain. The only reason i cant give it 5 stars is a standard pair of headphones dont fit in through the headphone jack hole. It almost does but i dont wanna ruin my earbud.... Not the end of the world but i had spend more money on Bluetooth wireless headphones which was no big deal for me! If the headphone jack hole just a bit bigger it would be perfect and i will still recommend it!

UPDATED:After my initial review of a faulty case, the company reached out and sent a new case. GREAT Customer Service! I was given a replacement case for the faulty original case. This new case is PERFECT! I've given it a couple tests with water and all have been fine! I haven't tested it in rough rapids or ocean waters but now have confidence this case will protect the iPod both with drops/scuffs AND water.PREVIOUS REVIEW (has been updated, see above, after the company sent out a new case):As a rugged case this has been fine...we finally get to a pool with a waterslide and after a while of in the pool, we are handed my son's iPod. i looked at the case and see some water under the screen protector. open it up and the whole iPod is covered in water!! YIKES!! thankfully the (less than a month-old) iPod still works. I am disappointed with this case.UPDATED REVIEW con't:This has handled quite a few drops and the iPod is fine. Rugged and Waterproof! I do not fear my son will break his iPod with his kid-like, all-over-the-place, action and adventures. This is comparable to an otterbox/lifeproof iPhone case but less expensive.Great Customer Service too!

saved my poor ipod I dont know how many times from water and scratches, I had a knife open in my pocket and leave a nice mark across this but the ipod is in perfect condition and its still water proof.. Remember to always do that test before you trust its going to work you might need to replace it!

Not gonna lie, I did not water test it before I slapped it on my sons iPod so I can’t tell you that part. However it has been splashed before and we got caught in the rain where we got soaked and he just pulled it out of his pocket when we got to the car and wiped it off and started playing. Not going to get crazy and dunk it or let him swim with it or anything but it has done its job and protected the iPod every time he has dropped it or when it has gotten wet.

Just like the LifeProof (original brand) case for my iPhone 5s and 5th Gen iPod Touch, but cheaper and with a kickstand.I bought this for my two year old child, since grandpa got her the iPod Touch (6th Gen). I wanted something that was shock/waterproof/resistant. This serves the purpose, because my toddler likes to drop and eat it, so this would ensure longevity. Grandpa had previous purchased an iPod Touch 5th Gen for my oldest, and she still uses it 4 years later without the LifeProof case, but that case ensure it was in good condition when the oldest got to respect the device (still forgets to charges it, though).So, so far, so good with this brand (3 months in), and a lot cheaper!

Arrived quickly and met my expectations. I am quite pleased with the touchscreen sensitivity (does not seem affected at all by the screen). I did the water test before putting it on my new 6th gen ipod. Not a drop of water on the paper towel I put inside, even after 20 minutes. I am unsure about the durability as I did not try dropping it, although it looks relatively sturdy. I wouldn't suggest throwing it at anything too hard.

Haven’t texted the water resistance. Touch screen is okay, clear but of course not as sensitive.

I bought this case for my 5 year olds iPod, the moment he received the iPod and case he was swinging it and it landed in the dogs very full water bowl even though the case says waterproof because of the price I was a bit sceptical, that was a month ago and his iPod is still perfect under the case I highly recommend this case for both price and quality if it can hold up to my wild child it can hold up to anyone

I use my iPod is do boring work around the house as well as during my camping trips. I like the idea that it’s now waterproof. Having said this, I would try it underwater.I do recommend this product under the environments mentioned above.

I use this case to protect my iPod from dust at work. It works great for that. The iPod has some wiggle room front to back in the case, but not very much that's it hinders its use. The home button doesn't work as easily, but it does have a full protective case on it, so it's to be expected.The touch screen work excellent through the case front, no complaints there what so ever.

This is a great case. Only thing is when needing to recharge the devise we need to take it out of the case as the charger is too big to fit through the opening. But still a great product.
