How thick is the padding?

It’s thick enough. Hand sideways. Very comfortable. Once it’s bolted onto the atv it’s amazing. Storage, comfort, handles, drink holders, backrest and the rear passenger is safe and enclosed.

Works for what I wanted at a good price. Like others have said, I needed to get longer u-bolts and I used pressure treated wood to adjust the back angle because it sat too upright. Overall a good product.
