Has excellent range. Very portable. Not sure how long the battery life is, but will test that out within the next few days. Easy set up. Plug into computer, drag files to the device and you're set. One thing I couldn't get connected to the IP listed on the paperwork. No biggie though.

I have been searching for a wi-fi enabled disk for transporting movies and music to play on all my devices while traveling and avoid eating up my data plan streaming content.The very small and extremely light airdisk is exactly what I needed.Within 5 minutes of opening the box I had downloaded the app from the iTunes App Store, transferred 2 videos from my computer, and was playing them on my devices. Very simple. Very easy.Cons? None that I have found yet. The App interface could be more beautiful, but aesthetics aside, it is functional and easy to navigate directly to the type of file you are searching for, and they play right inside the app.A short white micro USB cable is included. It is the nice flat ribbon type that usually lasts longer than the round cord style.I truly appreciate simplicity in technology and this device definitely delivers. There is only 1 button. Only 1 input for connecting cable. Truly nothing to "figure out".The included guide is super tiny and concise, which is fine with me. Another product I received on the same day came with an 88 page brochure for 8 pages of instructions in English. The other 80 pages are a variety of language I don't need. So I appreciate that the makers of airdisk did not include non-essential info I need to store and/or recycle.But the type is definitely tiny. I would guess 2pt. So, f you have any issues reading 2pt type, here is a handy tip:Open your phone's Camera app and zoom in on the brochure text as if you were going to take a picture. You can now read the 2pt type as if it were 12pt or larger if you need. This tip is how I get out of reading the menu for my sight-challenged friends at restaurants, too.I highly recommend this flash drive to anyone with more than one device they want to share files to wirelessly. The drive was easy to pair and easy to use. The directions are micro font but I used the phone camera to zoom in and read them. They pretty much amount to this:When it flashes red while you're using it, battery is low. When plugged in it flashes red while charging and is steady read when fully charged. When turned on, it is steady blue so you know wifi is enabled. It flashes blue during data transfer. It has an auto shutdown feature if there's no activity in 15 mins.That's pretty much it. I downloaded the app from the play store, copied a song over so I could see how it worked and it was a piece of cake. You can have multiple people connected to the disk so it's perfect for my intended use. A few kid songs, a couple of movies and both kids can connect to it in the car, no connectivity issues, they can watch a different movie or the same movie. They can listen to music.The device is compact and lightweight. The app is intuitive and easy enough for a child to use. It supports videos, pictures, music, documents and it has a phone backup feature. I received the device, downloaded the app to my s4 and my ipad. Opened the app, put in password and enabled the wifi pass through within minutes - and I am not a computer whiz. This is essentially a tiny 32GB hard drive with USB and wireless connection. The reason it stands out is because it can wirelessly connect. That's important because many devices such as phones, tablets and iPads don't have a USB port. With this little device you can store 32GB's worth of music, video, phots or data and can access it with USB or wirelessly. The wireless part is with wifi and not bluetooth. Transfer speeds are more than acceptable and the device is super small and lightweight. Everything is working as advertised and I am tickled with this.
