So, I have to say that this is the only brand of Alpha Lipoic Acid I have tried, so I can't speak as to whether it's any better than others, but I can speak to how much ALA has helped me and others in my family. I first heard about it from a client who was recommended it for non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Only a few days later, my mother was diagnosed with it as well. I told her she should try ALA as she had severe leg pain for several years which could not be helped by any treatments she had tried. She wanted to talk to the Dr about it first, and while she had never heard of it being used that way, the Dr looked it up and found that on the Mayo website it was their top recommendation for neuropathy. My mother bought some and a few weeks later started noticing a huge difference. A year or so later, I started caring for my mother-in-law after she broke her arm, and she was telling me about her peripheral neuropathy, so I bought her some ALA and noticed a big improvement within a few weeks. Fast forward to June 2022. I fell down my stairs and severely broke my left leg in multiple places. This product has been amazing. I've had neuropathy in my feet and lower legs. I had been running my medications through ChatGPT for it's recommendations and it recommended this product for my neuropathy issues. I was taking Gabapentin for it and I was able to go off of Gabapentin which is great. Along with this though - was an unexpected benefit. I'm in my early 50's and ever since I was in my late 20's the back of my hands and my wrists would burn when using a regular keyboard for more than 10 to 20 minutes. So I have always used a "natural" keyboard or most recently completely physically split (where the left and right sides are split to where each half is far apart such as shoulder width). The discomfort in my hands from that or other repetitive actions is *gone*. (By the way, if you need a more comfortable keyboard - look at the Dygma Raise or Dygma Defy keyboards - they take getting used to, but hey are amazing). Very satisfied with this product.
