Country Gentleman Corncob Tobacco Pipe Straight

These cobs are great smokers. Size is good for at least a half hour smoke. I always drill out the filter hole in the stem to make a loose fit for filters otherwise when they become wet, they tend to jam. Just drill out hole with 1/4” drill bit.

This is a great Corncob Pipe. If you are looking for corncob, Missouri Meerschaum is the best. They make a great pipe that is very affordable. The Country Gentleman has a deep bowl that allows you to have a long burning smoke.

Corncob pipes can be a great smoke. DON'T buy cheap ones at the drugstore. They burn out. Spend the extra couple of bucks for a quality product like this. For that matter, don't buy cheap briars at the drugstore. A good corncob like this is a better smoke...for less. I have had cobs last for 2-3 years with daily use.

These pipes are timeless. I bought them since I smoke pipes and wanted something inexpensive for when I travel in case I lose or break a pipe, no big deal. Also corncobs smoke well. The store ran out where I usually buy them so I bought them here. My only complaint is the stem, which is very weak especially for a clencher. I chew through these stems in like a day lol. BUT, you can buy a stem from Vermont Freehand that will last for life - very durable and when your corncob burns out you keep the stem to use on another one. Vermont Freehand Stems and Missouri Meerschaum - a good combination!.

For the beginning piper, YouTube has a large number of reviews and commentary on this pipe to help you get started. There are probably a great many pipes you could buy that are superior in some way. I'm sure I will buy some of those in the future...... But, for now, this is all I need. Great pipe . Purchased one for my self and one for a friend

I was skeptical about corn cobs. I will admit, my skepticism was unfounded. It took a few bowls to break it in. There is some wood where the stem enters the bowl that needs to be seasoned. Once this was done (you can get it done in 2 to 3 rolls. There are YouTube videos to show you how) I loved it. I love the shape. And the bowl is just the right size for me

I got this for my father. He's very happy with it and completely satisfied with his corn pipe. No complaints from him.

Mit dem türkischen Meerschaum hat diese Pfeife nichts zu tun. Vielmehr begann der Niederländer Henry Tibbe im Jahr 1869 in Washington, Missouri, Maiskolben zu Pfeifenköpfen zu fertigen. Er überzog den Maiskolben von außen mit einer tonartigen Substanz, glättete ihn und verhinderte durch die Beschichtung das Durchbrennen der Pfeife. Die vorliegende Pfeife ist gerade und 15 cm lang. Der Pfeifenholm ist aus hellem Buchenholz gefertigt und ragt in den Pfeifenkopf hinein. Nach einigen Rauchgängen sorgt der karbonisierte Holm am Kopfboden für eine längere Haltbarkeit der Pfeife. Das Mundstück ist aus Acryl. Durch die Saugfähigkeit des Maiskolbens wird ein Gurgeln verhindert. Verarbeitet wurde eine Hybridsorte Mais, die besonders große Kolben hervorbringt. Diese sind hart und feuerfest. Die Pfeife raucht sich leicht. Nach Belieben können 6 - mm - Filter verwendet werden.

I like the pipe, not so much the appearance. I swapped out the mouthpiece with my other MM pipe. I sanded the stem and used a dark brown marker.
