This unit works great, having a thermostat controlled unit has saved us money this winter. Did have a small glitch with the fan control thermostat . it started to go off then back on a minute later and did this repeatedly for about 5 min. all this time the heater was off and the fan should have stayed off but after about 5 min it stopped doing this and has not done it since and has been working correctly so far.UPDATE 3/8/17 pilot keeps going out, will not come on anymore emailed seller , waiting for RMA

Frustrated!!!!!!
The pilot for the natural gas side of the heater would not light. I called customer service and they informed me to have the gas incoming pressure checked, I am not a gas technician but you would think that the heater would be factory ready. I did inform them that I installed another heater and it works fine. In there manual it said for natural gas you could by pass the gas regulator pressure switch, I tried this and the screw is a clockwise only. The manual states to turn it counterclockwise. This is the first time I have ever wrote a review and probably would not of have but the customer service representative had to direct his questions to another technician for the answers. The support for this heater was not there and it was like it was not there problem. I received this thru Amazon on 11/23/16, they did state that it could be the ODS pilot and it might need replaced and that I need proof of purchase thru Amazon, which I understand but in turn they should have this thru model and serial number in my opinion. They never even asked for the serial number. Not satisfied and frustrated.

It deserves a zero because it did not work!
Heater arrived and looked like junk. I did not understand that recon meant used reconditioned/used/beat to crap/does not work/sent along to you, dents and all.

Doesn't light properly
I bought 2 at separate times and they both randomly fail to light half of the bricksso we can smell propane sometimes if you blow or wave something it will light
