Is lacquer coating on copper good for health? I read somewhere that it should not be used for water bottles.

The lacquer coating is on the outside to keep the bottle from staining. The inside doesn’t have any lacquer coating. However, it does form greenish coating. To remove that, squeeze a lemon in the bottle, and pour hot water upto the brim. Let it stay for an hour or so. Rinse off and see the difference.
