Very good quality product
Very well made product. And the packaging was very good too. Very happy especially when I fitted it on my mini lathe. It was good and snug. Perfect for my mini lathe. It works awesome. Good quality product.

Excellent chuck
After struggling to center the chuck on my old 12 inch Craftsman lathe, I decided to look for a new self-centering chuck. This chuck is remarkable. It is a heavy chuck for the size and the pinions performs perfectly to center all the jaws simultaneously. The price is very reasonable and the quality of the workmanship assures that this chuck will last many years. It holds my wood in place securely.

I have three of these. I see no need to spend $$$$$ on tools. These have been great woodturning tools.

Good for the money!
Definitely not in the nova chuck class. Seems like little if any cleanup after milling. Lots of burrs. I cleaned up the worst and now it works pretty smooth. I wanted something cheap that would prevent me from having to reconfigure the jaws during projects and it works just fine as my second chuck!

Fits perfectly, turns well, grips tight!
First off, I love that I didn’t have to overpay for a good quality gear chuck! Second, I love that it fits perfectly on my WEN benchtop lathe! And best of all, it holds its grip well!Was absolutely drenched in grease in the box so no worries about rust. A little excessive really as there were grease spots on the outside of the box, but I guess better safe then sorry.The ONLY downside is that sometimes the key will slip a little when tightening. The teeth of the key are not as deep as I’ve seen on other chuck keys.Overall, I really love it and would definitely recommend!

Over time the chuck started loosing up after I continuously tightened it numerous times with the Chuck keys . I conversed with the company and they refunded my purchase. I have 2 other Vinwox chucks and they work great. This is a top notch company and I will purchase items in the future.
