5 Stars, even with an issue
What's the issue?: Only partial insertion of the USB port. That's as far as it goes in. Maybe this contributes to some fragility - explaining why others reported that the port would break. However, for my use (which I'll explain) this is not nearly as much of an issue as "It works!".I have a music software on my iPhone which allows me to learn piano. So, I need a mini keyboard input (USB). And, I don't want to subject others to my novice efforts. So, I need a headphone output. And, I need to charge my iPhone while I'm learning. So, I need a lightening charging port. This device has all three - and they all work! ( with iPhone 8 Plus, Roland keyboard). (Still using my trusty 8 Plus because I've never found the need to upgrade, yet.)So, because it works and was inexpensive (certainly compared to an Apple product) I give it 5 stars!

none of the ports work
i tested a headphone jack didn't work, tested usb a yubikey didn't work, usb c via usbc to lightning adapter didn't work. this is a dead device.

Not compatible with life proof case
This may be a very good product. I ordered it because the usb stick that I had purchased wouldn’t work with my iPhone case (ice proof). Turns out, this isn’t compatible with my case either.

OTG adapter
Works fine. Transmit data and sound at the same time. One thing to watch out for is orientation of the cable symbols face up with the phone. Also observe the USB 3 plugs in all the way in. Some certified manufacturers connector doesn't allow the USB to plug-in all the way. It sticks out of the connector. I will post this on the different distributors. Manufactures in China makes these thing that works in a specific way. Then they sell it to a Chinese firm. So it doesn't matter if you buy a particular brand because it all comes from the same factory. I know. I bought different ones to try out. I read these postings and try to think logically what is happening here. This one doesn't plug in all the way. But it still works. Just remember the labeling faces upwards. Then you shall be all set to go.

Good quality.
This product seems like a cheap knockoff, but it works well. It can charge and play music at the same time!OMFG just like you could before they took the jack off the phone for no reason.It sounds as good as the cheap adapter Apple makes. I bought two more after I got it.

Funciona!
O mais importante é que funciona com iPhone e iPad. É como um Camera Conection kit com saída P2 e com porta pra carregar o dispositivo ao mesmo tempo.
